Until now, when I came to Kannawa, I stayed in a rental room where other Jigokumushi restaurants were available, but this was my first time staying here because the reviews were good. Although it was a small inn, it was kept clean. The most important thing is Jigokumushi, which is prepared twice in the kitchen and then eaten outside. The hostess kindly explained the order of steaming and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was great after dark. The hot springs were also wonderful and more relaxing than I had imagined. However, the walls are thin, so you can hear voices from the next room, and it shakes a little when someone passes by in the hallway.

Kannawa Onsen has become a base for hot spring tours. We enjoyed Jigokumushi in the morning and evening, and even though we didn't tell him anything, he quickly brought us seasonings, plates, gloves, etc. at the right time. This is an inn where you can feel the hospitality even if you stay without meals. You can also take a bath 24 hours a day.The host's homemade kabosu sour was delicious. If you use Kannawa Mushiyu, you will be given a discount by letting you bring your towel.I will use it again when traveling to Beppu

You may not be able to get to the location using navigation alone.Just call and askThere is a parking lot, but it is difficult because it is small. The room is Japanese styleThe kitchen, refrigerator, and toilets are shared. Those who wish can use the "steaming" pot. There is a service that allows you to use a nearby steam bath facility at a low price.

It is for business use.I bought some gyoza and squid skewers at a nearby supermarket, and with the guidance of the guy at the hotel, I steamed them for about 5 minutes using Jigokumushi. It was absolutely delicious. I also ordered the ponzu sauce, and the spicy seasoning went perfectly with the gyoza.Breakfast was served at 7:30, with hell steamed eggs and miso soup. It was also very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Something like that. What would you say?I guess it's the atmosphere. Calming atmosphere. It would be rude if I said it was easy, butGood things you don't find in expensive inns. This kind of place is a regular...virtual home?Makes me want to come back.Your favorite ingredients prepared by yourself to eat with Jigokumushi.Great while drinking beer.

We stayed as a couple, and we were a little worried about whether we would be able to take a bath freely as we were told that there was only one indoor bath, which we could reserve for private use, but there were only a few rooms, so there were a lot of small groups of guests, and the hot springs were hot. There seemed to be few people taking long baths, so there was no particular inconvenience. You can enjoy the deliciousness of the vegetables steamed in the "hell pot" in the front garden (you'd expect meat and seafood to be the main ingredients...), and there's also a public steam bath nearby, so you can enjoy the charm of hot springs. I did. (The smell of the grass was pleasant, but unfortunately it was so hot that I had to retire after 2/3 of the time.)Since I was staying overnight without meals, I was planning to go to bed the next morning feeling full and satisfied with my self-cooked Jigokumushi dinner, but I ended up waking up early because of the charm of the delicious miso soup and boiled eggs and morning bath that I received in the morning. I did.

It was a good inn with great service. If you use the navigation system, you may be directed to a narrow road from above (northern side), but it is a road that can be easily passed by motorcycle, so I think it is best not to go there by car.Go down Ideyuzaka, the main street, turn left, keep walking towards Kannawa Mushiyu on your right, and you will find Daikokuya and its parking lot behind Aso Ryokan.
