I stayed here because I was drawn to the dreamy combination of a wood-fired sauna and cold springs. There is a usage fee for the sauna and cold spring in addition to the accommodation fee, and there are 3 courses depending on the usage time. The rooms do not have refrigerators and the toilets are shared, but they are kept well-maintained so you can spend a good time. There is a shared refrigerator. Wi-Fi available.Wear swimsuits or trunks in the sauna. Trunks are sold for 500 yen. I checked the firewood frequently and it was piping hot. You can enjoy it even in the morning, and the indoor baths with alternating baths are also nice. There are also three private baths where you can return the tag.I wish they would open the indoor bath until late at night.

Feels like a trip to a different age, where time moves slower and more peaceful. The only sound you hear is the silent trickle of running water, crackling of firewood, and distant steps on the wooden floor. Private onsen, great service and food, and beautiful nature all around. Love and attention to tradition, and it shows. I can only highly recommend it.

This is an inn run by the Association for the Protection of Japanese Secret Hot Springs, and is known for its cold spring water, which is also the name of the inn.The coldness and stimulation of the cold springs may be too stimulating for people who are not used to saunas, but the overall atmosphere of the inn and the hot water are both very nice. Also, I was surprised that the dinner was very delicious. The negative points are that there are no toilets in the rooms and the Western-style toilets are often out of order, but I think it is a very relaxing inn.

The cold mineral spring water with a water temperature of 14℃ is intense. The temperature felt colder than the 14℃ of the water bath, perhaps because the ingredients irritated the skin. If you go straight into the sauna, the limit is 30 seconds, but if you warm up in the sauna before entering, you can stay in the sauna for a little longer.
