It's a bit far to walk from Yufuin Station, but I think it's worth taking a taxi for about 600 yen. The ryokan is good~~

The room is really too old and has not been updated... The walls of the bathing area are moldy, and even if it is moldy, there are holes... Taking a bath at night is like being in a haunted house... And the hot spring water is not hot enough... The room is big, but the age can be seen everywhere It feels like it's in disrepair. The door is broken and patched up piece by piece... It's ugly... The carpet is also very dirty... The lampshade is full of dust and insect corpses, which is very obvious after turning on the light... The chair is also the kind that you sit down on It collapsed...the pillow was all fluffy and still...Overall, only the shower gel, shampoo and meals are satisfactory, the rest is really not good! The light bulb in the room where our colleagues joined us was broken halfway through taking a bath, and the whole room went dark...it was so scary...I think an older hotel is acceptable! But if you don’t maintain it when you are old, it will scare people away! It’s a pity that this space and location are great, I believe they must have been great before! But it’s really not possible now!Very…not recommended to anyone who wants to go…so disappointing….I didn’t think it would be that bad after reading the reviews before I went there, but after staying here I really don’t recommend it at all… I hope the hotel can spend time and money on renovations instead of using old photos to attract guests online.

Both the building and the rooms have a sense of age, and it looks great when taking photos. The space is very large, which is very suitable for families with children. However, the doors and windows are old and you have to be careful not to break them. The room advertises that there is a hot spring for bathing, but The disadvantage is that the temperature of the hot spring water is very tepid and cannot be adjusted. It seems that the hot spring pool was not cleaned before check-in, and there was a pile of broken wood in it. The check-in fee on February 25, 2024 is about NT$10,000 (with breakfast the next day).

The open-air bath in the room was great!Although it is located on a busy street, we had a relaxing time. The food was delicious, and the staff were polite, unlike their appearance (sorry 💦).I want to go again!

Facing the main street of YufuinTherefore, there is no adjacent parking lot, so you should definitely call and ask for directions. The room is nice and quiet, contrary to the noise of Yunotsubo Kaido. We had dinner and breakfast, and most of them were delicious. The amount feels just right. The hot springs and rooms are spacious, and there is almost no sound from the hot springs in the room, so you can sleep without any disturbance. However, since the hot spring is indoors and there is no humidity control, there is mold growing everywhere. If you don't mind that, I think it's a nice place to stay.

The room is dilapidated, and the hot spring water is not hot enough. There is no service at all. Check-in and check-out are easy. The location is good, but the price is too expensive without night/breakfast. I will not stay here next time.

February 2024Great accommodation!Retro, Showa era, which money mochi-san built it? ? ?However, the fact that it is not open gives it a rare feel.To be honest, I was worried when I found out in advance that this was the inn where Zashiki Warashi lived.Partner doesn't notice. If so, let's keep it a secret. If we had known each other, it would have been a one-night stay with the assumption that the two would be out together. I’m scared😅Having said that, I thought, ``If I'm there, I might need some souvenirs,'' so I looked at toys and bought some Tyrol chocolate and sweets on the way there. *Later, when I told him the reason, he said, ``That's why. I thought you were acting strange🤣,'' he said.Go to bed early at night, go to the bathroom at night when your partner wakes up, turn on the TV early in the morning... without meeting each other ☺️…but. actually. There were two strange things. . . If there are many “helpful 👍” comments, I will add them 😅More than that. The bath water temperature is just right. I really like the luxurious continuous flow of music. It's spacious and you can relax. When you open the door between the wood floors, you can enter while watching TV (I have to put up with the sound of the TV because there is a sound of hot water). The food was delicious both in the morning and in the evening. I guess it's not much for us, who are gluttons...but by the time we finish eating, we're full! In other words, just the right amount.I want to come again.Next time, be prepared and bring your toys! Let's play together!
