This is an inn that I always use. The facilities are somewhat old, but that's the charm. The room also has a bath, so you can take a bath whenever you like. Because it is located on a hill, you can see all the way to Beppu Bay, and the starry sky is beautiful at night. The food here is simply the best. The food is so delicious that I wonder if it will be profitable every time. It's a great inn with great baths and food.

I kept hesitating whether to write a review for this place or not. Because I'm afraid that as it becomes more famous than it is now, it will become even more difficult to make reservations...It was a place that was satisfying without leaving out anything.As soon as I got back, I thought, 'I definitely want to go there again.' A place that made me feel like that.When you arrive, Okami-san greets you kindly and guides you through various conversations in a very natural and comfortable manner. They gave me a choice between two rooms, but I chose the one with a larger open-air bath even though the room was a little smaller. I think two people can fit in comfortably.When I was showering thinking there was no one in the room next door, I thought, ‘It’s cold! 'It's hot!' We made a lot of fuss, but later we found out that there was a customer... (I was sorry for making a fuss.)I went to the hot springs before dinner and wanted to drink draft beer, so I went to the first floor and asked for it, and they said I could take it to my room and drink it.(Of course, OK in the first floor reception room)The dinner is all delicious with carefully prepared food, but anyone who likes raw fish will be very satisfied. You have to be careful because it is so fresh, sweet, and chewy that you may end up drinking too much.And the chawanmushi is very delicious, but it tastes completely different from any chawanmushi I've had before.The ladies who served us during meals and check-out were friendly and kind, and when we asked or talked about food or drinks, they explained things in detail.Even though it was raining when we checked out, he came down to the parking lot to see us off, and we stood talking for a while before going in. I was worried that he might have caught a cold.They said that when foreign guests come, they try to communicate as much as possible using a translator app, but I think they will be able to fully enjoy the charm of this place even more if they can speak Japanese.

You can relax in a very quiet room with an open-air bath. The food is very delicious and filling. The proprietress and staff are also friendly.It was a wonderful and homely inn.

As the reviews say, the amount of sashimi you get with your meal is incredible. There was so much food other than sashimi that I couldn't finish it all.I made a reservation at Jalan six months ago, but I have never been to Jalan since then.

Wonderful staff, landlady, and rooms.There is a spacious open-air bath where you can relax.All the dishes are delicious and there are a lot of them.The staff's explanations of the dishes were wonderful, and they had smiles on their faces.It was a very nice and nice stay.I would like to go out again if I have time.We only accept reservations for up to two groups per day, so early reservations are recommended.Women can choose their favorite yukata.Breakfast was also very delicious.

2023.5.11 (Thu)Although it is located facing a wide road, the building is on a raised area, so I often overlooked it when driving from Kannawa.The parking lot is spacious and can accommodate about 5 to 6 cars.Currently, it seems that there are only two groups per day, and I was given a choice of a room with a Western-style bath or a room with a cypress bath.All rooms are on the second floor, and although there are no refrigerators in the rooms, there is a household refrigerator in the hallway that you can use freely. .The room includes a yukata, toiletries, body towels, bath towels, tea sweets, and a pot, and two bottles of mineral water are provided.WiFi is fully equipped, and there are no problems with communication speed and signal strength.The bath is on the balcony outside the room.The hot spring water is poured into the bathtub 24 hours a day.Shampoo and body soap available.This inn is famous for its luxurious dinners, but since it was the second night of my trip, I couldn't eat all the food I could eat two days in a row, so this time I opted for a plan that included breakfast.The problem is that there are no restaurants to eat dinner around the hotel, but we had Yakitori Ono next to Hotel Kannawa. (About ¥5000 for two people)On this day, I couldn't find any taxis so I walked, but on a sunny day it was just the right distance for a walk. (Downbound for going, upbound for return) For return taxis, there is a taxi stand in front of Ryokan Kurodaya.Breakfast starts at 08:00.Delicious miso soup and delicious rice in the morning.A side dish that goes well with rice will make the meal go even better.Also, the conversations between the staff, who are reminiscent of Remi Hirano, are fun.It's great to take a bath in the morning while watching the sunrise over Beppu Bay.It was a really nice stay.The rating is ★★★★, but it's 4, which is close to 5.-One reason is thatThe reason for this is that there are no restaurants nearby and it is difficult to make reservations...This is one of the accommodations I would like to stay at again.

My wife and I used it together with our 7 month old baby. I received a very warm welcome from the moment I arrived, and I had a great time from start to finish. The food was also very delicious, and the chawanmushi was the best I've ever eaten. The hot spring in the room was perfect for those of us with a baby and a bit of a hassle. I would definitely like to use them again.

I was very satisfied with the open-air bath in my room✨The large public bath was reserved for my family, so I took my time in it✨I was satisfied with the contents of dinner and breakfast, but I'm sorry that I couldn't finish all of the dinner as there was a lot ❗️It was hard to find the place, but I managed to get there 🎵
