It's good. Dinner includes dessert, so please wait until the end. Please note that breakfast is served all at once. There is an open-air bath in the public bath, so use it according to your preference. And the view from each room is great!

Before departing from Hita Station to Amagase, we requested a shuttle bus. When we arrived at the ryokan, Junko-san welcomed us. They explained the ryokan well and carried our luggage to the room, which was convenient. The hot spring in the forest was good, but the large bath inside the ryokan building was also better than I expected, and it was nice to be able to use it quietly and alone with almost no people around. The food was very delicious and the treatment was friendly. Junko-san also gave us a small gift, saying we came from far away. It was a pleasant trip.

The outdoor hot springs were nice, the rooms were clean, and the dinner and breakfast were great. The workers were really friendly and I want to go on a hot spring trip with my friends again next time.

I've stayed here twice in the past, and the dinner is always delicious, and the breakfast is simple and delicious, and it's served in a cute basket, so I'm excited from the morning. The facility is a little old, but the rooms are clean and tidy.I only used the open-air bath, but the atmosphere was nice, including the one on the way.A small message from the landlady will accompany you in the room and during meals, making it very relaxing and soothing. It was a good inn full of hospitality!

Honestly, I was quite disappointed. It was a room with an indoor bath, but was it made of cypress? The bathroom was dirty and unused, and the whole room smelled musty.I got to the restaurant on time, but there was no guidance, and the place I was directed to was a not-so-clean banquet hall with a passageway separated by a curtain from the backyard, and moreover, we were seated together. When I called for help, there was no staff nearby. I looked into the backyard and yelled loudly over and over again, but the staff member, an older woman wearing a kimono, was not only unfriendly, but also had no expression on her face. When I asked for a fire starter, he was reluctant and said, ``I don't need raw meat because it tastes this good.'' You can grill the meat however you like. I stayed at Ukiha in Seon and Yuono, which is part of the same chain, twice, and I had high hopes because it was a better price than there, but it was the worst. The only thing I liked was that the foreign staff were friendly (although their Japanese wasn't very good), and the scenery was nice. After that, "Ukiha" is better in everything from customer service, appearance of the entrance, and cleanliness. As for the food, there isn't much of a difference in taste between the two, but at Ukiha I was able to enjoy the food in a private room with a sunken kotatsu, and the male staff who guided me around was kinder and more attentive. Good impression. If you are unsure, I think it is definitely better to go there. I will never use Shinjiyo again. Most of the people who have given high reviews are probably those who stayed in the highest grade rooms with open-air baths, or those who had private dining rooms. That's what it feels like. I don't criticize the foreign staff, but I think the price includes the service, so I wish they could speak a little more Japanese. It seems that they are being hired due to a labor shortage, so perhaps Ukiha has a similar number of foreign Katakoto staff...This review is based on the situation when we stayed there, so if the lack of human resources is improved, I think the customer service may improve. It's tough everywhere right now...As a side note, I also worked at a hotel for about five years, so I think I have learned a certain amount of what hospitality is all about. There is no doubt that the customer service of the older women here is of a low level.
