The large public bath was really nice. Watching the sunrise while in the hot springs seems to be the best part of this place. You can use it as many times as you want. The large public bath fee is 250 yen per person and is charged at check-out.

I was pretty disappointed by my stay here. I am not the one to write negative reviews, but I want to warn others before staying here.First, my aunt has a very serious allergy to scallops. I had talked with staff weeks before on the phone and also left a note on the reservation site to not serve scallops. As soon as we sat for dinner, the main sashimi dish had scallops. I voiced this to the staff and although they were accommodating and gave her a new plate, I could feel that they were annoyed at my request. I'm not even sure if they recut the fish that was touching the scallops or just re-plated them. She could have gone to the hospital and there weren't any apologizes for this mishap.Secondly, we had discussed on the phone that we would like to do 2 breakfast meals and 1 dinner. When calling on the phone, the staff told me that the only way to do that was to book 2 separate rooms, one with dinner and breakfast included and one with just breakfast. When we checked in, I confirmed that we had 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner. The employee told me that because of how I booked the rooms online, they would have to move us to a similar but equally sized room. On the second night, we were moved to a significantly smaller room AND breakfast was not included.I voiced my concerns to the staff and they basically gave off the impression that it was my fault and that I willingly decided to book 2 different rooms. Looking at the receipt, it looks like I may have made the mistake but I am just frustrated because I had called the staff twice, both before and after making the reservation to confirm that everything is right. I wish they would have called me back to say that there was a mistake.I've stayed in a lot of ryokans during my stay in Japan (almost 12 in the last 2 years) and this was the most unpleasant experience I've ever had.

Invincible sea view, you can see the entire Beppu Bay. The large room type includes a small indoor bath, where you can enjoy the view of Beppu Bay while bathing. There is a hot and cold water dispenser in the room. There is no peculiar smell in the room and the air conditioner is freezing enough. The staff had a good attitude and were polite.

It takes about 10-12 minutes to walk from Beppu Station. There is a department store 10 minutes away from the hotel with supermarkets and toys for shopping. There is also a large Ji'an Hall with many things. There is a large 7-11 just out of the alley, 5 minutes away. This famous Tendon restaurant where people often queue up is very delicious and has good living functions. The most important thing is that the hotel itself faces the sea. The view from the room is very beautiful. You can also watch the sunrise from the room. The public bath on the top floor is also very comfortable. The gentle sea breeze blows and you watch Bathing in the sea is really one of life's great pleasures. There are many types of yukata for girls, and the key point is that they are affordable. It's worth trying if you like traditional tatami hot spring hotels.

The sea view is super beautiful, the weather is good and the sunrise is really beautiful. The service staff is very enthusiastic and will patiently listen to my broken Japanese. I’m so happy that I can choose the color of my yukata! The kid’s yukata is so cute and I want to buy it.The reason I gave it four stars is because, at this price point, I still need to raise the standard a little bit... To be honest, the breakfast is not as delicious as in chain restaurants. The salmon was very bad on the first day, but the halibut was much better later. The bathtub attached to the room is slippery if you step on it.It seems that the points have not been cleaned up. I know that hot spring hotels are difficult to maintain. The elder's room has an extra bathroom but the shower head is broken. The large open-air bath upstairs is recommended when the sun is not shining directly. It is clean, beautiful and exclusive!

When I was looking for a hot spring bath in my room, I found Umino Hotel Hajime, which also had a fireworks display, so it was more expensive than usual. |The room had been renovated and was very clean. …
