Kyushu Onsen Road ♨️ 400 yen 🅿️ FreeThe natural hot springs spread out next to the river and the scenery is spectacular. The hot springs are colorless and transparent, the bathtub is spacious, and the floor is made of natural stones, giving it a wild feel. It's a mixed bathing open-air bath, but there are quite a few women as well. The temperature is low, so it may be cold outside of summer.

I visited it because it is one of the 88 hot springs in Kyushu.I hadn't done any homework, so I didn't realize it was a mixed bath. There seems to be an indoor bath for women only, but for men there is only an open-air bath with a wall bath. I think many people have written about it, but it's quite lukewarm. I think it's cool in the summer. It's a short walk from the changing room to the bathtub, so you'll need some courage. There were two women there when I visited, and I didn't feel like I was getting into hot water.Honestly, I think it's enough to experience it once.

Visited on a day trip. I was a little confused about where to park my car, but ended up parking in a public parking lot. Take off your clothes in a simple enclosed changing room and soak in the hot water. When you pick up the sand under your feet, you'll see large bubbles come out, which tells you that the hot springs are a valuable source of water. I didn't intend to stay long, but since it was a private hot spring bath and the water was extremely comfortable, I ended up soaking for about an hour until the next customer arrived.

It's lukewarm water that you can stay in forever! The sound of the river flowing was nice, the sculpin was singing, and the fireflies were flying.

The open-air bath is certainly lukewarm, so stay in it for a long time. It's a little carbonated spring. Hydration is necessary. Women need swimsuits.
