It felt like they kept only the good parts of the old inn and updated the facilities. The bath feels nice too. I felt the food was a little lacking, but overall it was a comfortable stay.

Last time, I stayed with three friends, and this time I stayed with my wife for two nights, and we were both satisfied with our vacation.◎RoomLast time, three men stayed in a 6-tatami Airweave room, but this time we were drawn to the bright blue fusuma (the bright blue fusuma resembles the ultramarine clay walls of Kanazawa) and chose a special room with an indoor bath. I stayed at We have 2 rooms, so my wife could work on her PC, etc., and we were able to spend some time relaxing.(Since it's a traditional Japanese house, there are limited outlets, but we were provided with extension cords in the room.) It's also nice to have Wifi and get to work quickly lol)My wife doesn't like futons at inns and usually brings her own pillows from home when she travels, but the Airweave pillows seemed to fit her body well and she seemed to like them a lot. The Airweave mattress was hard, but I was able to sleep comfortably without feeling any pain the next morning.△Maybe it's because of the hot springs or because it's an old house, but the hot water in the large public bath is not strong enough, as is the bath in the room. Cold water comes out normally. The LED light in the bathroom sink in the room was out of order, so I had the LED lamp replaced, but it didn't turn on, so it may have been caused by the hot springs. We are surrounded by nature, so there are insects. Mosquito coils etc. are provided in the room.◎MealsThis really makes use of the ingredients and is delicious. It has a gentle taste that cannot be conveyed through photos alone. From the first time I stayed here, I felt that the food here was the most soothing to my body, and I wanted to come here again with my family. It's the best and safe dish to enjoy with local fish and vegetables that aren't frozen. If you are not satisfied with this dish according to other comments, perhaps you are looking for kaiseki cuisine with gorgeous presentation, techniques, dishes, and utensils rather than cuisine that values simple ingredients. yeah. Although it is simple, it is a delicious dish that you will want to try when you come to Beppu, which is different from those inns.◎Large bathThis is the best, as others have said. The quality of the spring water can only be found here. △To be forced to say, since the indoor bath has a rock bath style, footing is difficult, and the stairs to the open-air bath are steep, so elderly people may need to be careful. The changing room is not large, but it wasn't a problem since it wasn't crowded on weekdays. Speaking of luxury, it might be a good idea to maintain the plants in the open-air bath more often. . (It's a great garden with an open-air bath, but since it's summer, the trees grow quickly and there are quite a few weeds.)◎ServiceYou can serve customers with peace of mind. Is it because there is a lack of manpower?Depending on the time of day, there may be no one there.Although it sometimes feels like there is no one there, I think that the food was served carefully one by one by a small number of people. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have avoided unnecessary conversations and are keeping a distance from our customers, so you can feel at ease.◎Overall, since the building is an old inn, there are many stairs and steps, and it is not barrier-free, but I thought that there might not be another inn that was so tasteful and clean, from the entrance to the hallways to the rooms. The rooms are well maintained while preserving tradition, and I really like the taste of the rooms, so you can spend time with your loved ones in peace. It's definitely one of my favorite inns. I would like to visit again soon.

Because of the location, there were no foreigners during our stay. I think I've tried everything that feels like a Japanese ryokan. Try on a yukata, eat kaiseki, go to an outdoor open-air bath, get your bed made, etc... It was also nice that the meals included almost all of Oita Prefecture's local dishes (dangojiru, Ryukyu, hell steamed rice). The staff are all very friendly, and although the location is a bit off the hell pilgrimage course, it takes about 10 minutes by bus, so there doesn't seem to be any problem.Anyway, I recommend it for various reasons!

Even if there are elderly peopleEven though there is an entrance from the first floor, he never tries to guide me there and only tells me about the entrance on the first basement floor. (I was shocked to hear this after checking in...)It seems that they cannot provide soft meals suitable for the elderly. There are many steep steps both inside the building and the open-air bath. The stairs in the open-air bath are really dangerous. (By the way, even a young person fell in the open-air bath.)It's for energetic people. If you have a handicap, it is better not to choose it.Shampoos are moldy. The hallway is wavy, and the room looks like it's going to roll a B ball? I'm leaning towardThe indoor bath is not large enough to be called a public bath. 4 wash areas. But the food is very, very delicious. The view is beautiful for those who think it's beautiful to be able to see the artificial road bridge. It is perfect for those who like quiet hot springs. THE hot spring inn! Please come while you are well. It cost a little over 30,000 yen per person per night on weekdays.

The Yunohana hut in the back has a great shop-like atmosphere! !I think I saw Kuniaki Shimizu's program a few years ago? I have a memory of.As you walk a little further, you'll notice a hallway that feels refreshing, a reception set and books at the front entrance, and a feeling of climbing up a nostalgic hallway. It feels like walking down the tile and wooden stairs towards the hot springs. The washstand in the middle of the room has a retro feel.Best of all, if you leave your skin in hot spring water for a long time, the hot spring ingredients will make your skin tingle, which is a first-of-its-kind sensation. The best part is a dinner where you can enjoy some amazing fish.Everything was a great night.

I was looking forward to the milky blue hot springs, but on the day I stayed, the water was almost gray, probably due to the weather. The morning sun in the room was pleasant and relaxing. The rice is delicious. I later regretted asking for less. They served me pudding and it was delicious.
