The fantastic rooms were all nice and quiet, but I felt like the kaiseki was a bit disappointing. However, I am willing to visit again if I have the chance next time.

The staff were all very kind, the food was delicious, and we had a great trip.However, the water in the open-air bath in the large public bath was lukewarm, and it was difficult to adjust the shower temperature.The open-air bath in the room was comfortable.

Private room with open-air bathHot water, food, and customer service are all excellentAlthough the room feels a little old, it is clean and well-maintained, and you can see Mt. Yufu from the open-air bath.The food is delicious with the Seki horse mackerel and shabu-shabu plan and will exceed your belly bread limit.Thank you for your willingness to accommodate my companion's birthday cake order.This is an inn I would like to visit again.

There was no problem getting around because I had a car, but as seen in other reviews, they seemed to provide pick-up and sanding.The staff was very friendly and it felt like a good value for money ryokan. A small view of Mount Yufu.

It was the most satisfactory ryokan I've ever been to, including Noboribetsu, Gunma, Beppu, Saga, and Yufuin.The friendliness of the staff is very good. Basically, you can only speak English and Japanese, but if a foreigner who speaks a language you don't know enters the room, you will have to study to accommodate them.Meals are basically kaiseki for both dinner and breakfast. There wasn't a shortage of food, and there wasn't any food that one would have strong likes or dislikes about. All the food is well-organized and well-organized, so eating is not a burden. However, the seasoning may be a bit weak for the general public to eat.Hot spring water - We use really good alkaline hot spring water, not just regular water. I checked in at 3 o'clock and enjoyed the hot spring pool until the next morning, but I didn't want to leave... I wanted to stay longer...There is a shuttle service operated by the accommodation. If you ask the accommodation, they will tell you the pick-up time and location in detail. If you board in front of Yufuin Station, it takes about 8 minutes at most.The facilities are not flashy and are made to blend in really well with nature. The accommodation is full of the smell of grass, trees, water, and hot springs, not the smell of chemicals. What's disappointing is that the facilities are very old. If you talk about it in a good way, you can feel a good sense of time. To put it negatively, it is old.I will come here again even if the price goes up. I would pay a similar amount and stay at Hotaru even if I had to pay a little more.

I know that there are a lot of ryokans in Yufuin.This was my first ryokan experience.It had a quiet atmosphere and a private hot spring bath in a private lodging, and you could also use a family bath, as well as a large separate hot spring for women and men.Of course, he mainly speaks Japanese, but it was nice that he explained things well in English as well.And the hot spring water was amazingly slippery, warm, and really nice! I could really feel Japan wearing the provided yukata.Dinner on the day we arrived and breakfast the next day were also perfect. All the food was delicious and explained kindly.Everyone welcomed us kindly and we had a great time.

Although it is far from the station, there is a shuttle bus so it was very convenient.The staff are all friendly and the kaiseki and breakfast are very delicious. The rooms were clean and the hot springs were very nice.(The soundproofing of the rooms is not perfect, so it is best to be careful with each other)I am 100% willing to go again next time.

There is a pick-up service as soon as you arrive at Yufuin Bus Terminal. The condition of the accommodation is excellent and very clean. Due to the nature of the wood, I was a little worried about the condition of the room, such as bugs and mold, but the room was very clean and the bedding was clean. We stayed in a room with a private hot spring, and the hot spring was amazing. The water is always warm and you can enjoy the hot springs while looking at the scenery. And the water is really clean... The kaiseki dinner and breakfast are really delicious, and the staff kindly explains things in English.The only downside is that the convenience store is too far away, so it will be very difficult to use the convenience store unless you stop by the convenience store in advance. It's nice to have a good rest at the accommodation~~haha

He was so kind and it was nice that it was so quiet.The room with the private hot spring was missing, so I used the shared, private hot spring, and it wasn't inconvenient. However, there was nothing around.The convenience store is about 6 kilometers away from Yufuin, so you have to buy it in advance.Pick-up is available from the station.Even if you rent a car, there is ample parking in the front parking lot.As expected from Japan, the tatami room is clean and the bathroom water in the room is not hot spring water.

The pick-up and drop service was also very good. Since I was visiting with my mother, I flexed and got a room with a private hot spring. It was nice that the family and public baths outside were separated for men and women. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were also delicious. The male boss can communicate well in English. Instead, I received a reservation confirmation call in English.-There is nothing nearby, so buy a late-night snack at a convenience store before calling the shuttle bus! (There is a beer vending machine)-It was the best part of my trip to Fukuoka. Next time I go to Yufuin, I definitely want to visit again.

At my wife's request, I went to Oyado Hotaru in Yufuin to soak in the hot springs.I stayed in a room with an open-air rock bath in a separate building.I think it's a long-established store, and although it was a bit of an old building, it had a nice atmosphere.The bath in the room was also nice with thick hot spring water. It's a bit lukewarm because it's a continuous stream, so you'll need to add hot water 😉I had a light kaiseki meal, but I was usually full.I think it was good that I was able to give guidance on customer service. There was a waiter who was fluent in English, and it was cool that he was able to help the foreigners living next door.The bathroom other than the one in the room was a little far away, so it was cold. Afterwards, maybe the soundproofing was bad, I could hear people talking in the next room~💧I have to walk a lot to the restaurant, so it's a bit painful in the morning and evening.I guess it depends on the room you get, but I guess it's food, bath, customer service, and location.💧Overall, I went home satisfied 👌
