Although the building itself feels old, the room was clean and didn't make me feel uncomfortable.Regarding the service, I was satisfied with the courteous response, but I was disappointed that the garbage cans had not been cleaned and trash from previous customers remained.Regarding the location, I felt it was convenient as it was close to Happo-One Bus Terminal and Happo-One Gondola.

A slightly mixed experience.Pros:- Booking process was extremely smooth and you feel looked after in the run up.- Beds were nice- is good how they arrange ski hire for you.- Free Breakfast is decent, even if they blast electro-pop music at quite a volume 😂- Good location near to the Happo One gondola lift and even nearer to the Nakiyama chair lifts (recommend going there instead to validate lift passes as it's a shorter walk and you can ski to the main gondola)- AC in room + bath means you can stay warm and toasty after a long day out in the cold.- Friendly staffCons:- WiFi was pretty nonexistent in my room on the 4th floor, so I ended up using lots of mobile data.- Both the tumble dryers weren't working, so I ended up washing a bunch of my clothes and then wasn't able to dry them, so I had to hang loads of wet clothes up in my room. When I asked a member of staff about the dryer, they told me they knew that one of the dryers was broken but that it was news to them that both were broken. They hadn't put a sign up or anything. I wouldn't have tried to do any laundry if I knew the dryers weren't working.Given the price, I was expecting a tiny bit better.

great location and the rooms are surprisingly spacious. the front desk staff are all youngsters working seasonally. the location is extremely central close to happo ski resort and the happo bus terminal which makes it a great spot to catch the shuttle to other resorts in the area. there is a great pizzeria inside the hotel which makes it worthwhile. Rentals are also within the compound which makes it quite practical. breakfast is starts at 06.45 which makes it possible to reach happo in time for the first lines

Great place to stay - short walk to Happo One ski resort and central to lots of bars, restaurants and bus terminal. Accommodation rates include daily ski/snowboard hire - and the rental shop (within the hotel) also has quality jackets/pants/helmets to hire at a reasonable cost. Also includes continental breakfast daily. There is also a quality pizza restaurant in the hotel.The operators have excellent communication and look after you very well - highly recommend staying here!

N.B. they prefer you book direct or via skijapan - otherwise you may not get the advertised free equipment hire. Nice and attentive staff. Many areas felt in the middle of being/recently completed being refurbished.
