Yesterday, I used it for 2 days and 1 night at a summer band camp for high school students.Regarding summer use, I personally thought it was good overall.I am writing this here because my opinion differs from other reviews. To be honest, at first I was skeptical about this place as the reviews were not good. The building cannot be described as new; it was built during the bubble era of the ski boom around 1990, so it feels old. There is a Maharaja's disco in the basement, and in the back there are the remains of an indoor hot spring pool with a water slide and the remains of a karaoke room, giving the impression of a comprehensive leisure facility. This is probably the best place to visit at night in Hakuba during peak hours.I think it was used as the main facility and was crowded with young people from Tokyo and Osaka until midnight every weekend. It is certainly older overall than modern hotels, but some parts have been updated and the inside was clean.Apparently, the current owner bought this place when he put it up for sale a long time ago, and his family runs it.So, unlike major hotels, it had a homely feel like a pension, and the staff was very kind and pleasant. We went to a summer band training camp this time, so bath towels and amenities were not provided, but the prices were very cheap. The toilet did not have a washlet. The breakfast was buffet-style with a large selection of items, and the selection was better than that of a poor business hotel. The heating and cooling equipment is central heating and cooling equipment in the building, so even though I stayed there in the summer, the air conditioning never stopped working. I don't know about winter. The only thing the room has is a TV, refrigerator, and hair dryer. There's nothing around the building, so the convenience store is a bit far by walk. It's a great place for summer music camps for students. There are a lot of studios, and the studio equipment is relatively new, so I didn't have any complaints.Considering the price of the hotel, the cost performance is very good.As mentioned in other reviews, I think it is mostly during the winter ski season, but in the summer there are no part-time workers, so the service was good.In my opinion, if you're looking for the amenities and convenience of a modern, up-to-date hotel, this is the place for you. This is a hotel where you can feel that the owner is working hard to make the most of the old building.I think this will resonate with people who experienced the bubble era.

Used for 2 nights and 3 days, the reception staff was very helpful, and there are billiards and table tennis on the 1st floor. However, the ventilation fan in the room and bathroom is broken, so the toilet smells and gets cloudy, there is no refrigerator in the room, and towels were provided on the first day with bath towels, hand towels, and disposable toothbrushes, but they were not provided on the second day. , use your own towels. I gave up on going to the public bath because there was no toilet and it was in a separate building. We recommend buying late-night snacks at a convenience store before entering.

I love fresh and delicious food.I really like the unlimited shabu shabu refills for dinner and the fresh salad, bread, and sticky rice for breakfast. The accommodation was clean and the bed was nice, but I wish the TV was a little bigger.

I used it for Golden Week.A person with dreadlocks who had come in since yesterday was at the reception for one surgery (he had a loose look).I didn't see any other employees, but when I asked questions, they either didn't know me or gave me wrong answers. It was so loose and funny that I laughed.Facilities were good.

I have a lot of part-time jobs. I wasted money because of my part-time job at the front desk. I should have left my luggage in the room after checking in, but for some reason they charged me 500 yen to leave it there.Because it is a cheap accommodation, the customer base is not good. Noisy in the bath. The food is cold and it's not sanitary because it's all-you-can-eat.I upgraded and ordered Gyusuki Nabe, but they didn't guide me and I almost couldn't eat it.I don't really recommend it.
