Hotels in Karuizawa in the summer tend to be expensive at seasonal rates. This hotel was reasonably priced, conveniently located, and a good value. It is located on the second floor of Church Street, in the middle of the main street of Old Karuizawa Ginza.A large parking lot is located at the rear of the entire Church Street commercial complex and is free to hotel guests. It feels like a simple, stylish hotel. The room was simple and there was no bathtub, just a shower, but I didn't feel any inconvenience.Eating outside is conveniently located.By the way, for breakfast, we went to the bakery Asanoya, which was just a short walk away.If you want to elegantly enjoy the feeling of being in a summer resort surrounded by the greenery of Karuizawa, go to a suitable hotel. This hotel is recommended for a casual stay, such as staying one night, going to the outlet, and returning home.

I spent more than 180,000 yen to book two nights. I don’t recommend it! I have traveled to Japan more than 20 times, and I have been to Japan 6 times this year. This is the worst accommodation experience ever!1. The bathroom toilet is made of plastic, which is very cheap, smells bad, and may become moldy in some cases.2. Very stingy with touristsBreakfast is from 7:30 to 10:00, and last call is at 9:30. We went there at 8:50 and already a lot of things were gone. When I told the hotel staff, they initially said that slot out was very tough and there was no need to negotiate. I told them that the time was still available. Before we arrived, a lot of things were gone. The child needed some bread (the bread basket originally contained bread but it was empty). It wasn’t until I started taking pictures that the restaurant brought it out to us. I felt very angry and must have had a fight or something. Can I get the food I originally purchased if I appeal?3. The room price is very expensive but the concept of youth hostel4. You must take your luggage by yourself unless requested.5. I didn’t feel the warmth and the counter service hours are limited.6. When you enter the counter, there are various rules and no sense of intimacy.7. They charge five-star prices and provide self-service services, especially the breakfast supply. I feel full of stinginess and indifference.

Located in Karuizawa Ginza, it is in a good location for sightseeing. There is a commercial facility on the first floor, and when you go up to the second floor, it becomes a lodging facility, which is something I have never seen anywhere else. The parking lot is a coin parking lot next to the facility, so if you are driving in, you will need to enter from the back street of Ginza Street.Almost all the restaurants on Ginza Street close their shutters at 6pm, so don't expect to see the daytime bustle and think you'll want to eat on Ginza Street at night.
