I stayed there for a week from the end of July to the beginning of August. All the staff members are kind and polite. Meals were a buffet in the morning and evening, and the menu was extensive. It wasn't just brown food, there was also a wide selection of salads. It was a sunny day with temperatures exceeding 40 degrees in the plains, but the temperature in Shiga Kogen was around 20 degrees, which was very comfortable.

Directly connected to the slopes. Ichinose Family Ski Resort is right next to the drying room. On the way back, you can take the lift and ski directly, and the location couldn't be better. You can see the ski resort and other mountains from your room. The food was extremely delicious to us.The coffee is delicious and the pizza for lunch is also great. The problem is that dinner time is too early and short, starting at 5:30. Check-out time is also tight at 9:30. Unless you stay for consecutive nights, you won't be able to relax comfortably in one night. It was just a flurry.I forget whether the open-air bath was open from 3pm to 5pm during the afternoon skiing, but it was too short so there was no point. However, it helps to take a bath 24 hours a day.I was thankful that the prices of the juices and alcohol in the vending machines were not expensive and there were many types. In addition, there is a convenience store nearby, which is convenient. The room looked clean, but I couldn't tell if it was dust, pollen, or dust mites, but people with allergies should be careful. My partner seemed to be in pain, so I would like him to clean it thoroughly. You will need to cover your bed with a sheet yourself. Is the futon the cause of allergies? The parking lot can only accommodate about 8 cars, so if you're unlucky, you'll have to park at a communal parking lot a fair distance away. However, there is no problem because they will pick you up and drop you off anytime. There is a ski tune-up room with ski ski tables, but you must bring your own fixed vise and other tools. If you could at least set up or lend me a ski vise...Hotel Wi-Fi is weak. It was useless.I think it's going to be tough due to the economic downturn, but if it improves a little, I think it will definitely be the number one hotel in Ichinose.

This was our second stay in Hotel Khuls, which again left us delighted with our holiday. The hotel’s location is probably one of the best in the whole Shiga Kogen resort. It is a true ski-in ski-out experience. …

We booked this hotel, mainly for its ski in/out facilities and for having an outdoor onsen. …

I've stayed five times at this hotel during ski season and can highly recommend staying here. The hotel rate covers breakfast and dinner as well as skiing and snowboarding gear. They do rent ski-wear and helmets as well for an additional fee. The dining area for breakfast and dinner in communal and the food is tasty. For lunch, the hotel has a separate dining area which serves excellent katsu curry, various udon soup dishes, and even pizza which is made at their 2nd floor pizza shop. The hotel is ski-in, ski-out and has a nice public onsen on the top floor. If you're too shy for a public bath, each room has it's own bath for soaking. The top floor also has a self-laundry service with three washer/dryer units which costs 400 yen per load (detergent is included). The hotel has recently installed new heaters and hydrogen electrolyzed water machines in their guest rooms, all of which are very roomy. You also have a choice of Japanese style or Western style bedding. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Yamamoto, are extremely accommodating and friendly. For English speakers, if you have any questions about the hotel or are trying to schedule a stay, visit the hotel's website and send them an email. Ms. Sakai will reach out to you. She's an excellent communicator and is very friendly. She'll visit you at your table during dinner to check up on you during your stay. Enjoy your stay here. I certainly do.
