The man at the front desk was rude and unpleasant. If you work in the customer service industry, I would like you to treat me a little more decently. This is a very unfortunate response.

I couldn't go on my planned trip, so I suddenly decided to change my trip to Karuizawa.Since I had to make a last-minute reservation, I looked for an open place and made a reservation at this hotel. However, I suddenly received a phone call at 8am the next morning and was told that if I didn't come, I would have to pay a cancellation fee.Isn't it a mistake to make a reservation? I got a message. Did something happen in the past? Even though I thought so, I was surprised to receive a phone call so early in the morning. On the day of the event, my schedule was scheduled early and I was able to check in an hour and a half earlier than the scheduled check-in time, so I called to confirm, but after receiving some mixed reactions, I finally understood. I got their approval and checked in. As the reviews said, the response was not very good. I was guided to room 212, and when I went there with the key, the doorknob wouldn't turn and the lock wouldn't open. I panicked and went to the reception desk and told them about the problem, and they used the master key to open it for me. I was just informed. In the end, nothing was resolved, and I stayed there feeling anxious and uncomfortable, and was immediately checked out. thank you very much.

If your main purpose is sightseeing and you just want to take a bath and sleep, that's totally fine! There was a polite welcome, and the staff left a very good impression.Although there is a bed and sofa, the room is spacious and does not feel claustrophobic (/・ω・)/The sound of the toilet can be heard throughout the room, so it may be important to be close to the person you are going with (*´艸`)There are pubs, bars, convenience stores, home centers, pharmacies, gas stations, and electronics stores within a 10-minute walk, so it's extremely convenient! In my personal opinion, the hardness of the bed and pillows was just right, which was a great help as I have trouble sleeping if it's too soft.Is it better to prepare an extension cord for the outlet? It may depend on the room, but there was no outlet near the head of the bed...I usually bring an extension cord with me when I travel, so I didn't have any problems with it, but if you have an extension cord that's about 5 meters long, you can charge your smartphone near the head of your bed.Is the air conditioner a little moldy? I have a mold allergy, so I felt a little itchy, so I took anti-allergy medication to deal with it.The cost performance is excellent, so I would like to come again!

This will be my first time using it. Before I stayed, I was worried after seeing other people's comments, but there were no problems and I had a comfortable stay. The room was spacious and the bed mattress was just the right hardness for a good night's sleep. One thing I noticed is that the temperature of the water heater is not stable and the temperature of the water changes when you use it. It felt like I was using a small capacity water heater or a kerosene water heater. Also, the shaver had two blades, which made it a little difficult to use. We recommend that you bring your own amenities. Also, it is not a problem for those who go by car, but for those who are going to the outlet or sightseeing in Kyu-Karuizawa, I think it is a bit difficult to walk. There is no problem if you take a taxi. There is a large supermarket nearby (probably the largest in Karuizawa) within walking distance, so you won't have any trouble buying dinner, alcohol, wine, side dishes, etc. Nearby, there is a delicious bakery (in old Karuizawa) inside the museum, where you can relax. There is also a pub nearby and it seems like there are many locals there, but unfortunately I wasn't able to go there this time.

I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but I made a reservation based on the good location and attractive price. But it was just as everyone said.First, after you make a reservation, you will receive a phone call asking you to pay the reservation deposit. In my case, it was a last-minute reservation, so I was told to pay at the counter on the day.We will also confirm your check-in time.I was supposed to check in at 11pm because I was heading there after work, but they reminded me that I had to check in by 11pm, so please be sure to check in by 11pm.I thought to myself, ``It's possible to check in after 11pm, but the plan says there's a 10% charge for the nightly fee...'' I thought as I answered. And then the day arrived.I was told to be there by 11pm, so I finished work early and headed there in a hurry, but I got a call at 10pm.When I was wondering something, I was asked, ``Are you there yet? Where are you now? "and.Don't you want me to stay the night?I felt bad even before I arrived at the hotel.Check in at 22:15.Both the restaurant's website and the plan stated that the curfew was 24:00, and I had made a reservation to go to a nearby pub, but I was told that the curfew was 11:30 p.m. on weekdays, so be sure to arrive by 11:30 p.m. Please come back.''I stayed on a Friday, but it was treated like a weekday. To begin with, there is no mention anywhere of a curfew of 11:30 pm on weekdays. This is a hotel that doesn't care about its customers and only thinks about itself. My precious trip started off in a bad mood.I thought it looked nice, but I didn't turn on the air conditioner because I didn't know what year it was and it didn't seem like it had been cleaned.Adjusting the water and hot water in the bath is also troublesome. We recommend booking another hotel even if it is a little more expensive.

The room was large and clean. It feels like a long-established hotel. It seems that the staff's response was not good, but I didn't have any concerns at all. I wanted to borrow a bottle opener and they accommodated me.However, the only amenities available are one small sample size bag of shampoo and body soap. No conditioner.I wish they would at least provide hand soap. Also, there are no taxis at all, so please be careful if you don't have a car (I walked 30 minutes from Old Karuizawa Station).
