Even though I had already made a reservation, the hotel that bothered me by informing me that it was already full a week before I checked in was the worst 😣!

It was very quiet probably due to the high soundproofing properties. The room was spacious and it was great that you could take a bath in the hot springs any time except from 11pm to 11pm during your stay. It’s also good to have a large bath towel. The cup is wrapped in plastic and is clean.

The atmosphere was relaxing, the hot springs were almost private, and the restaurant staff were kind. There was a fireplace in the lobby at night and it was soothing.

I stayed here the night before going to Kurobe Dam.Baths are only available for one hour from 11pm to 11pm. The water was hot. The food was delicious and the employees were very friendly. My complaint is that the mattress is thin and uncomfortable. My lower back hurts and I can't stand it.And for some reason, there is no low table or cushion in the room. There is a small table and two sofas that seat one person by the window, but the seat of this sofa is very soft and is slanted toward the backrest, so when I sit down, I can't reach the things on the table.Since I couldn't see the TV from that spot, I had no choice but to move the table into my room, sit on the edge of the futon, and grab a beer and some snacks.I have stayed at many hot spring hotels so far. This is the first time I've stayed in a Japanese-style room without a low table and cushions. Also, there was a lot of dust on the windows, so I think they should put more effort into cleaning.

There is no convenience store within walking distance, but the room was clean, the price was reasonable, and the staff was very responsive.

To be honest, this is a hotel that I don't think I'll come back to again. The guest room looks clean and spacious at first glance, but if you look closely, you'll see dust gathering in the corners. Also, since the hotel shared one wifi, I couldn't connect at all...I almost didn't use it. There are no telephones in the rooms, and LINE is used to contact the front desk instead. I inquired about the wifi from my LINE phone, but apparently many of the staff members were not Japanese, so I was confused and couldn't get through to them. The (probably Japanese) male staff member who came to eat was polite, so I think it would be difficult to get them to serve customers in Japanese, but I wish all of them could be at that level. I think the food is delicious, but I don't think it's suitable for children because it's quite a hearty Japanese meal. The only good thing was the kids space in the lobby. I'm not even old enough to be a child, but there are comics and billiards, so I think even adults can have some fun. I stayed here most of the time because the wifi didn't work.It seems like a big deal, but the fact that the wifi doesn't work in the room is out of the question...I think it's a good hotel if you can manage the radio wave environment and the dust in the room (it's also close to Kurobe Dam).
