It was a good place to use as a base for visiting hot springs. There is a parking lot right next door. The building is not grand, but I had a comfortable time there.

Nozawa Onsen for the first time in decades. This time I enjoyed the hot springs instead of skiing. Parts of the inn are being renovated, but overall it was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The fact that two types of hot springs are used in the bath is also very satisfying. We visited 5 public baths located on the edge of the hot spring village. There were times when the water was so hot that I could only take a bath (it gets especially hot first thing in the morning), but it's fun to see that each hot spring is a little different. It feels good to wake up early and take a bath while taking a walk around Asagama and Nozawa Shrine. The most impressive thing about the breakfast at the inn was the miso soup with yugao (a local vegetable grown in this season). Of course, white rice with nozawana and pickled cucumbers is the best. The staff at the inn are also very polite and warm and have a good reputation. It was a good trip.

I stayed at Kawaichiya Ryokan when I stayed in Nozawa Onsen for the first time. The location of this inn is within walking distance of public bathing facilities, making it a great location for those who like touring hot springs.I stayed in a room with a hearth. The room had just been renovated and had a chic Japanese modern feel, making it a very relaxing room. The service was also good, with welcome drinks and apple juice tasting. However, the negative point is that the amenities were not very complete, which is a little disappointing.I wanted a disposable comb. The meal was satisfying in terms of volume, and I was really happy with the delicious rice and all-you-can-eat Nozawana greens.Everyone at the front desk was very nice and kind, and I had very good memories. If I have a chance to visit next time, I would like to come during the cold season!

I stayed at Kawaichiya with my friends on June 26th. It was fun to look around the rooms as each room was designed differently. It's clean and spacious enough. It was a very relaxing room. It was very easy to move around the building using the elevator. There was apple juice for tasting at the entrance of the store, so I was able to buy a souvenir apple juice without hesitation (although I bought too much). The meal plan includes comparing Shinshu beef and Niigata beef. The refined fat was not sticky at all, and I devoured it in one go. It’s truly exquisite, so you should definitely try it!There were also many other dishes unique to Nagano Prefecture and Nozawa Onsen, such as soba gaki, oyaki, and nozawana, all of which were delicious. All of the staff members greet you with a smile and answer all your questions kindly and politely. Moreover, he is very knowledgeable. They looked like they were having fun at work, and I could feel the love they had for Kawaichiya from the staff.I also took a walk around the hot spring town at night and was able to see fireflies in the river right next to Kawaichiya. I was so impressed because I didn't expect it! It's clean water. Just looking at it healed my heart. The food, the rooms, the hotel, the staff, the hot spring town, and the scenery along the way were all very satisfying, making it an unforgettable trip. Nozawa Onsen during the green season is not crowded and has a great atmosphere! I will definitely stay again!

The hot spring felt great. The food was also good, with a comparison of Shinshu Premium Wagyu beef and Niigata Wagyu beef. This is an inn that requires repeat visits.

This indoor bath is drawn from Shinyu and Asagama-no-yu, both of which are popular outdoor baths in Nozawa Onsen, and is highly rated. There are also rooms where you can enjoy the outdoor bath in your room, making it perfect for hot spring lovers. The food is also good, with options for those who prefer meat.I think "Sakaya" is the best in Nozawa Onsen. Sakaya is probably the best hot spring. However, the quality of Sakaya's food has declined recently, so I highly recommend Kawachiya.I have been to Nozawa Onsen more times than I can count.

2024.4.16I made a reservation on the same day and stayed in a Western-style room with a plan that included breakfast. The hotel was clean and the staff were all very friendly and we had a good time. The location is also good, making it suitable for walking around the hot spring town.I don't like leaving my keys with someone to move my car, but this one had a large parking lot and I could park my car by myself, so that was good. The breakfast was ample and not too heavily seasoned, so even though I'm always concerned about salt intake, I enjoyed it.I thought it was good that the eating area was partitioned off so privacy was protected. There was no elevator in the building I stayed in, but I would like an elevator to get to the third floor. It seems that it will be renovated soon, so will a new one be built at that time?I'm looking forward to itI think it's a great hotel
