I stayed here for the first time while climbing Mt. Karamatsudake during the green season.I've been to Happo-one several times for skiing, and I've had cake, coffee, and beer at a shop right in front of the ski slopes, but I never knew I'd be able to stay there. The parking lot was next to the building and it was easy to park. It's surprising to imagine walking past a building facing the ski slopes and parking in the parking lot in the winter.Although it is a small inn, it is well-cleaned and you can feel the friendly personality of the host. When you go up the stairs to the second floor, you will find a spacious room with a sofa, a TV, and various drinks. I was alone, but it seemed like it would be fun to chat with friends here instead of in the room. The host seemed to be a one-man operation, but there was a reasonable sense of distance and I had no complaints about the service. The bath was a hot spring bath that could accommodate about 6 people, and the washing area could accommodate about 3 people. I have been to other hot spring facilities in Hakuba Village, but I was surprised at how much my skin felt so smooth and relaxed.I would like to use it again when I come to Hakuba Village.

The price is low and the cost performance is good, and the inn is clean and well-maintained, and the host's personality and service are wonderful. After checking out, I was able to store my luggage when I went hiking, and when I returned to collect my luggage after climbing, I was also allowed to use the bath. The hot spring bath is also wonderful.Especially recommended for those who do mountain climbing and activities.

A pension located within the Nagiyama slopes of Happo-one Ski Resort. At noon, the restaurant serves lunch. The price will increase in 2023.Inside, you can relax at the large tables, and enjoy your meal by the window while looking out at the ski slopes.Turkish rice is a pilaf topped with pork cutlet and served with a salad. The amount of rice is quite large, and if you eat the tonkatsu with it, you will be quite full. The borscht has a more sour flavor than other restaurants, and has a lot of stewed vegetables. When you set the rice, the amount of rice is about the same as a regular serving, so it's also filling. The restaurant's recommended curry and rice also comes with plenty of rice. Roux has a bitter taste and is suitable for adults. It has an original feel. It's a lot, so please be careful as the large serving is a ridiculous amount of rice. Why not visit when you're hungry and want to eat your fill?

Directly connected to Mt. Nagi slopes. Convenient parking is available next to the hotel or nearby. The hot spring water was hot, which I personally like. The high point was that the plain indoor sandals (there are 2 types) and the diner sandals were comfortable to wear. We asked the owner to give us free ice and carbonated drinks (homemade). The owner and his son? daughter? A couple? The response is also good. You can freely enjoy mineral water etc. on the common floor. When I used it this time, I only had the plan that included breakfast, but I would like to consider dinner options next time. Even after checking out, I skied until around noon, but I was able to park my car in the parking lot next to the hotel, which was very helpful. The only downside is that breakfast is only served at 7:30. I can't really complain as most inns are like that, but the lifts and gondolas at Mt. Nagi in Happo-one start at 8 o'clock, so even though I'm staying in a great location when I'm having a normal meal, it's definitely not until they start operating. I'll be late. Breakfast was a Western-style meal with unlimited milk, juice, and coffee, and it was delicious, but next time I might consider not having breakfast. At least from around 7:15...! Overall, it was a great hotel that I was very satisfied with, so I will use it again.
