This was my first Courtyard series.I was relatively satisfied with the service and the rooms, so I would like to use it again.---The guest rooms are deluxe Japanese and Western rooms.→ The room was clean, probably because it had been renovated. What's even better is that you can put a futon in addition to the bed. The unit bath with integrated toilet and shower, and the sink area seem a little old. It feels like the room is supposed to be a large bath.restaurant→Breakfast is similar to other Marriott restaurants. The local vegetables and fruits (fruit hozuki) were good.→Dinner is expensive, but the portions are large, so I didn't think it was that expensive if you were sharing it. If you're a member, you can get a discount, so unless there's a store you're looking for, it's probably better than going to a strange store with prices in a tourist area. However, since it's a grilled dish, it's all quite heavy. (Photo is dessert)lounge→Minimal snacks and alcoholic beverages. You can drink alcohol with the bonus of getting it for free, which is enough. Neither good nor bad.I only know about the services provided by Platinum, but they include restaurant discounts, room upgrades, children's ice cream, a lounge, and general things like breakfast. Maybe everything except the lounge is gold? When compared within the Marriott family, there are many aspects that are inferior to other brands. I thought ⭐︎5 would be enough if I considered it as a normal hotel.

I stayed with my wife in mid-October. It is functionally organized and has a clean feel. Compared to Marriott Karuizawa, which is in the same group, there are many inbound customers (because it is a courtyard), and the overall size is small, so I think it depends on the timing of use, but it feels cluttered and is suitable for those who want to relax at the resort. I guess it's not very suitable? People who use Marriott's premier benefits may be used to this kind of atmosphere, and some people may think that the cost performance is good.I reserved a room with a hot spring, but the bathroom in the room was small and didn't have a window, so I used the public bath. There was an open-air bath at the bathhouse, but unfortunately when I used it, I was with people who seemed to be inbound tourists, so it was very noisy, with people spitting on the tiles in the washing area and golf swings in the open-air bath. There were people imitating me, so I couldn't really relax. The grill bar we used for breakfast had a nice atmosphere, but the layout of the buffet food was not organized and the juice squeezing machine was making a lot of noise, creating a bit of chaos. There wasn't.Most of the staff are kind, but some of them don't seem to be very good at Japanese, so I feel like they should improve this area a little.

Overall a pleasant stay. Comfortable room. Clean.I'm writing to thank Ms Ayako Aizawa and Mr Takuma Motoyoshi for attentive and sincere services.Ms Ayako at the front desk provided a day trip itinerary to Hokata for me which detailed train times, bicycle rental shop and things to do. What she did was really effort and kindness. The clear information made the trip so much easier.Mr Takuma at the restaurant noticed that I was using my own tiny packets of shichimi and he took initiative in bringing me a can of the restaurant's supply. I did not know that the restaurant has it and I did not even ask for it. But he saw me using and offered me. Great service transcends language barrier. Even though English wasn't his main language, he showed great attention to details. Please extend my heartfelt gratitude to them both.

The room was comfortable.I got a platinum upgrade to a room with hot spring water, and it was very comfortable! Also, the grill bar in the hotel was of very high quality, and I used it for dinner two nights in a row.All the vegetables are fresh, the pork, Shinshu beef, and Shinshu salmon are all delicious, perfectly grilled, and the sauce is amazing! It feels like a pretty high-quality restaurant comes with the hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious, even the homemade dressing on the salad was delicious, and it was the best restaurant with a very particular chef. This is the best set in combination with Hakuba's nature.

I am a Platinum Elite member. Stayed twice in 2022. Masks were forced upon check-in.In the lounge and restaurant right next to it, everyone splashes around each other and eats and drinks, and in the public bath, everyone is dripping with body fluids, right? Why is the setting so that the killer virus exists only at entrances and exits within the same building? As others have written, the lounge is also designed like a conference room, so if you are planning to stay here, you should not expect too much.At the breakfast restaurant, I was able to eat comfortably without being treated as a germ.
