It's nice that it's close to Goryu Ski Resort.The owner's wife is Korean, so there is no problem communicating in Korean.Friendly and great Japanese dinner

Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of photos of this place :( but what you see on their website looks exactly the same as what you see there.The hosts were rly rly friendly and super helpful! They gave us recommendations to where we should rent our snowboards (one of the cheapest options), they gave us a rlly nice breakdown on what’s near us/food options etc.The location is also perfect. It only takes us around 5 minutes of walking distance to Goryu mountain!You can opt for breakfast during your stay here as well. Not only it’s convenient, but it tastes rly good too! I’ll never say no to home cook food. They change their menu everyday, so you’re really in for a surprise.Word of advice: Tokiwatei is alllllll the way at the top. So if you have a huge luggage, would suggest you to drop them a call to fetch you at the bottom of the mountain. Not sure if they’ll charge you for that. Even so, it’s so worth it. We had to walk all the way up with our huge luggage and it’s rly damn hard cos the road is steep and slippery. We only found out we can do that after we checked in 🥲Anw, I would definitely return here if I ever visit Hakuba again! Thank you Tokiwatei for the lovely stay 💖

The hosts are super super friendly and very helpful! They provided exceptional customer service, and delivered above expectations to help us with our car’s tyres issue!! Super grateful! ☺️The location is perfect, walking distance to Goryu mountain!Would definitely return here if I ever visit Hakuba again!

Thank you for your help on March 18th-19th.○The location is excellent, close to Goryu○The building as a whole feels old. The room can't be called clean, but I personally have no complaints.○The volume of the food was average, although some reviews said it was a lot. I think the reason why there were so many good reviews was probably because of the soup stock. It felt like Kyoto soup stock.I was born and raised in Kyoto, so the smell of dashi soup was somehow nostalgic.○The bathtub in the large public bath could accommodate two adults.○The room does not have a toilet or sink, so it is shared. There is no toilet or sink on the 2nd floor, so it is inconvenient for those using the 2nd floor.○The staff's customer service is not according to a manual like in a hotel, but they are very personable and ask for flexibility, so I am very satisfied.After checking out, I had to use Goryu in a hurry, but it was really helpful for me to be able to park my car.My friends and I were very grateful that the Goryu parking lot was full so they parked far away and took a shuttle bus to the slopes.I'm sorry I couldn't thank you when I pulled out the car because I was in a hurry.By using this place, I was able to use Goryu, which I had not originally planned to go to, and it turned out to be a nice slope, so I will definitely use it again when I go to Goryu ^^☆
