I booked 2 nights at Big Bear Chalets & Appartment through Agoda. If you make a reservation, click on the cancellation section and it will display a 50% refund if you cancel along with the reservation. I thought it was canceled because it wasn't specified as non-refundable, but I regretted it.The room I chose was a studio apartment, and I went to Big Bear Chalets on Google Maps with Agoda's address, but there was no one around, it seemed to be closed for a while and wasn't open for business, and even when I called, they didn't answer.The Agoda customer service center told me to go in because the door was open, but the employee who said he would come didn't show up, and as it got dark, I was very embarrassed. I asked the lady who came out to walk her dog to call me, and she told me the location and she came to pick us up. In the end the chalets and appartmet were located somewhere else, about a 3 minute drive away. You have to search for big bear appart on Google.It was newly built, clean and equipped with many things, but there was no toothpaste and toothbrush. I stayed for 2 nights and the towels were not exchanged.I think it would be better to go only if you can speak English or Japanese.

You can stay in a large log house. You can stay in a different place than usual, so you can experience an extraordinary feeling.

Stayed at the 2 Bedroom apartment. It was our first time to visit Hakuba during the summer season and loved every minute of it.The apartment is located at walking distance to the Evergreen Outdoor Center where a lot of fun activities are available.Darren and Noemie have been super accommodating and really went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience in Hakuba.We will definitely return to Hakuba and stay at one of Darren's property again!

We had a great stay - 2 adults and 5 teen boys. Everything was provided - comfortable bedding, towels, washing machine. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishware and cutlery, pots and pans. …

Stayed at the three bedroom White Fox Chalet Hakuba 2019 season. Darren and his team were amazing - as was the accomodation and snow! Would def stay there again, and recommend to all
