We stayed at this lovely hostel in Azumino with my family, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The place was incredibly clean, from the rooms to the common areas, making our stay both comfortable and relaxing.What really stood out was how helpful they were when we realized we had left an important item behind after we checked out. They promptly helped us retrieve it without any hesitation, which was such a relief.If you’re looking for a warm, clean, and friendly place to stay in Azumino, I highly recommend this guest house. It was an unforgettable experience for our family!

We had planned to stay for one night, but when my wife arrived at the hotel, she said she wanted to stay another night, so we ended up staying for two nights!The scenery and the atmosphere of the accommodation were great!I also had a lot of chats with the innkeeper's wife and relaxed with Wanchan (Shiba Inu), so it was a very fulfilling stay!I will stay again! Thank you very much!

The room was clean and smelled of incense, and the view from the window was very beautiful. You can freely use the living room and kitchen on the first floor, and you can also cook your own meals.Even though it was a sudden stay, the owner was very kind. The hot sandwich and chai we had for breakfast were also very delicious. Highly recommended.

We had such a great stay at Azumino Backpackers. A very warm welcome, tasty apples, a beautiful kitchen to cook in and comfy beds. Our hosts even dropped us off at the bus stop it the morning. Highly recommended. Dheri Dhanyavaad, Saathiharu!

When I was looking for a place to stay on a trip from Kurobe Dam to Tateyama Murodo, I found Shiba-chan here and decided to stay here because it was close to Ogisawa Station.The rice field road leading up to the house is narrow enough for one car, so you should be careful when walking. There were no other guests on the day of my stay, so I was able to spend the time as if it were my own home because it was reserved for me.The room had bath towels, face towels, disposable toothbrushes, and makeup remover in the sink.Because it was in nature, the starry sky at night was very beautiful!We had delicious chai in the morning, and our Shiba Inu, Gaku-kun, was so cute that we were glad we stayed here! If I have a chance to travel to Nagano again, I would like to stay here again.

This accommodation is like a home that has been renovated into an inn.Although it is smaller than a hotel, you can enjoy a comfortable stay that feels like coming home.There's a feeling of ``I'm glad I stayed'' that you can't get at a hotel.As everyone has written, we had a really pleasant time thanks to the hospitality of the owner and his wife and the friendly Gaku-chan (Shiba Inu) who welcomed us.Thank you so much!

A pretty nice guesthouse run by an owner from Nepal.I can speak Japanese fluently, and I could feel the hospitality of the Japanese people, which made me feel very comfortable.The location is good, and you can see the undisturbed scenery of Azumino from your room.This is the place I definitely want to stay when I come to this area.

Owner are so nice and thoughtfulthe house is beautiful, the garden is large and has BBQ with free stuffs.Really recommended!!!The owner was very kind and took care of me in many ways.They prepared all the facilities, the room was nice, and the view was nice.I felt Japanese hospitality here.

A guest house with a lovely owner.Bath towels are provided, which is unusual for an inn like this, and there are plenty of amenities available, which is helpful for female guests.There was also chai service in the morning, which warmed my heart.

I was healed by the friendly owner, his wife, and their dog. I was happy that they had lit a bonfire and were waiting for me.If you have a large car, you will need to be careful on the way to the parking lot.

The rooms are clean, the kitchen is well-equipped and easy to use, and you can have a barbecue outside. Charcoal and firewood are free. It also lights a fire, so if you only have the ingredients, you can start a barbecue right away. In the morning, the view from the balcony while drinking chai brewed by the owner was amazing. It was an inn that I would like to visit again.

It was a relaxing stay with the owner couple and their Shiba Inu, Takekkun.The room was clean and had a warm atmosphere, like visiting a relative's house.In the morning, the view of Azumino was amazing while drinking delicious chai.Next time I would like to reserve it for 3 families.

Used for overnight stay. It was good hospitality. It takes about 3 minutes by car to the hot spring. You can use the kitchen and tools to prepare your meals.When I was getting ready in the morning, he made me a cup of chai. It was authentic and delicious.

It's a very cozy B&B. The owner and his family are very friendly and well-equipped. The environment is quiet and there is a cute Shiba Inu. Everything is great! It is highly recommended and I will stay here again if I have the opportunity! The price is reasonable.
