A long time ago, I stayed there on a school trip. The ski slopes were right in front of us and access was very good. There was a small terrace in my room on the second floor, and I used to open the window and use the snow that had piled up to cool down the juice I bought (I have fond memories of that). The owner was also friendly. At that time, they served fried noodles for dinner. A male employee, who must have come from the Middle East to work, who had been smiling during the day, was crying in the bathroom at night. I think he was homesick.

This hotel is perfectly located, with ski slopes right at the doorstep. However, there are a few areas where I think improvement is needed. Firstly, not all rooms have a private toilet and shower; instead, there are shared washlets and toilets. This might be inconvenient for guests who are not comfortable using the onsen to take a shower. Adding a shared shower room outside the onsen would be great. Secondly, more attention should be given to the cleanliness of the shared toilets, as they appear to be dirty. The breakfast menu was average, with no many selection. It would be great if they could improve on these aspects, considering their prime location. The great thing about this hotel is that you can get the ski lift at a slightly lower price compared to the ticket counter.

I enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were extremely kind and attentive. One staff even helped me carry my snowboard bag down to the dry room. The room itself was very clean with a fridge and tv and other such amenities. Location really is the biggest plus of this place as it is right in front of the lift. Truly ski in ski out. Wonderful place for beginners to stay. You do have to walk over to the gondola but it’s a two minute walk. Lots of restaurants nearby for lunch as well. Dinner was a bento box which was a little disappointing but hot soup and all you can drink alcohol made up for it but I don’t think it was enough food. Maybe bring a snack to eat along with it or chocolates for dessert ❤️. The bath was very clean and very warm I loved it. All in all, you get what you pay for and I think it was a good value and nice play to stay. Coming again soon!

It is used for ski tours.I rented skis right in front of the ski resort and was able to go straight to the lift. The hotel building is old, but has been renovated to some extent, and the rooms are spacious and well-maintained.The staff were also kind. The food was a bit lacking, but considering the tour price, it wasn't lacking at all.I would like to use it again if I have a chance to go skiing in Tsugaike.

A rice cracker futon that I thought was for children, and a cheap croquette bento for dinner. The toilet was not clean either, and there were two cardboard towel racks placed carelessly in the changing room of the bathtub. I won't be using it anymore.
