I used it with my wife and toddler (1 year old) in early October. I think the cost performance is very good for staying at a hot spring in Beppu (meals in your room). There are two open-air baths and a private bath. However, since there are only two places available, reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, and since I checked in late around 6pm, there was only 10pm available. I didn't have a bath in my room, so I was at a loss as to what to do with my baby. (Because I would fall asleep by 10pm) At that time, I received a call around 8pm and was told to take a bath, which was very helpful. I don't know why, but maybe the inn took care of it. The family bath was well-equipped with all the necessary equipment, including a bathtub for babies. Yukata for infants can be borrowed at the front desk. Anyway, overall I was very satisfied.Actually, I had made a reservation in July, but my child developed a fever the day before and I tried to cancel and pay the cancellation fee, but they refused to accept the cancellation fee just because the baby was feeling unwell. So I'm really glad I was able to stay here this time.

A Japanese dinner is served for dinner and breakfast.I ate very wellIt was a bit difficult to communicate because it wasn't a place where many foreigners came.In particular, there was only one shower room, so it was a bit inconvenient to have to set aside time to wash.Other than that, the owner was very kind and I had a great rest.

It was a little hard to find because it was next to a row of private houses. There are 3 hot springs with free flowing water that are very pleasant. The food is average.

I saw a video on YouTube and really wanted to go, so I decided to visit. I was very satisfied with the fact that I could stay alone, have meals in my room, and use the private bath.The building is old but kept clean. I spent a relaxing time in a Japanese-style room at an old-fashioned Japanese-style inn.The meals are handmade with care, and the vegetables are also grown in their own garden.It was so delicious that I couldn't finish it all. I stayed on a Sunday, but the hotel was fully booked. There aren't many modern facilities (lol), but for 18,000 yen, which includes two meals, it's a great value for money and I'm sure I'll be staying here again.

I used it around late December 2021.Although we were staying with 2 people, the room was spacious enough that we could not hear the voices of the people in other rooms, so we were able to spend a comfortable time.The private bath has a great open-air atmosphere and is highly recommended!Also, the staff at the inn were wonderful, and when I arrived early, they kindly took care of my luggage, and when I was wearing the haori I had brought from home over my yukata, they said, ``I really like that haori.'' It was a great memory for me.One thing to keep in mind is that the amount of rice is relatively large, so if you are a small eater, it might be a good idea to let the staff at the inn know in advance!

To tour the eight hot springs of Beppu! I showed up early and was able to park my car, store my luggage, and even change my clothes. The parking lot is difficult to find, so be careful with large motorcycles. However, if there is a garage, can you park three large cars a little far away? Thank you for letting me park.The indoor bath was large enough for 4 people and small enough for 2 people.You could reserve the bath in the evening and use it in the morning if it was empty, and you could use the open-air bath if it was empty.All the food was delicious, and I enjoyed a variety of sake and shochu. Perfect for visiting the hot springs of Kannawa Onsen ♨️

Overall the atmosphere was very good. Although the building is old, it was well kept and I felt very comfortable. The stairs are old-fashioned and steep, so it may not be suitable for people with bad legs.You can experience Jigokumushi for free, so if you bring your own ingredients and steam something in the Jigokumushi pot, you can enjoy the after-party in your room.Reservations are required for the baths until around 21:30. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get in at any time, but it seemed like the turnover was quick because there were only 8 rooms.The service was good, and my first hot spring trip in a long time was a memorable one.

This is my second stay here. In my place, the young proprietress was working hard with a smile on her face. As always, it's a great location with delicious food and steamy food. However, it seems that the hanten only comes in one size, so it was too small for my large husband to wear. Since there seem to be a lot of customers, I thought it would be better if there were a variety of sizes. I'll visit you again.

I stayed here for one night during my recent trip.The entrance was facing a narrow alley, and the interior had the feel of an old folk house or guest house rather than a traditional inn, giving it the impression of a hideaway.There are three types of hot springs, all of which are reserved for private use, so you can soak in them at your leisure.The food was delicious and there were so many different kinds that I never got tired of it.However, during breakfast, a young female staff member came into the room by mistake, and she half-smiled and said sorry before walking back, which bothered me a little. I did.

It's a bit old, but it's kept clean.Both dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious.The location is a bit narrow, so I don't recommend a large car.The parking lot is a gravel lot, so you'll have to carry your suitcase with you.

There are 8 rooms in total, so you can spend a relaxing time.Check-in is from 2pm, so it's great for hot spring lovers.There are 3 private baths so you can enjoy each one, and the open-air bath was small but very nice.There was more than I could eat for dinner, but it was all delicious.It was also nice to have a massage chair in the room.

My husband and I stayed one night for a year-end party.It's an old inn with a lot of history, but it was clean and nice.The bath was also private, so I felt safe and relaxed.The amount of food was so satisfying that I couldn't finish it all. The beautiful proprietress is said to be the 4th generation and came from the Kanto region. I thought this inn would continue to exist.

It's a great value for money, with spacious rooms and private baths that require reservations.Although it's old, it's about average to clean compared to other historic guesthouses and inns in the area, and above all, they keep it clean.The Kannawa area gives me the extreme impression of being a super high-end inn, a very old hotel, or a guest house where people who want to use the hot springs can stay, but I got the impression that it was small and homely and just right.

A quaint hot spring inn about 15 minutes walk from Kamenoi Bus ``Kannawa''. As you go down Ideyuzaka from the bus stop, you will see the signboard for the inn. The room I stayed in, ``Ume no Ma,'' was a spacious Japanese-style room that was too spacious for two people, and a room with a verandah. It's nice to have a massage chair in the room. According to the official website, some rooms do not have toilets or massage chairs, so be sure to check. There is no bath in the room, but it is a private bath that must be reserved. What I thought was interesting about the in-house facilities was that there was a self-catering room. You can also use the Jigoku Steam Pot, so one way to enjoy it is to make dinner with the ingredients you brought with you. There is also a washing machine, so it's nice to be able to stay for a long time. The dinner course includes regional dishes such as chicken tempura, Jigokumushi, and Bungo beef. You can add Seki horse mackerel and Seki mackerel to your reservation in advance, but be careful as the original portion is quite large. Although the location is a little far from the famous "Jigoku Meguri", I think it is the best location to enjoy visiting Kannawa's hot springs.
