The price of staying in a hut has gone up recently, but it's still in the same price range.Even in the shared rooms, there was a price difference between the main building and the annex, and although the facilities were clean, I felt that the service was not very good, such as there was no heating, and the meals were the same for breakfast and dinner except for the main side dish.It may be the time when the huts are closed in mid-October, but I didn't have a good impression, so I don't think I'll go there again for the night.In Hakuba, we recommend the huts around Mt. Hakuba or the huts in Goryu.

-16000 yen per person include dinner(5pm) and breakfast(6am) can refill rice.- officer tell me :room about 60 people per room , some have small group depend on you choose ;first come first serve-private room add 18000 yen per group- they have blankets and futon ,it work for deep sleep- toilet : very good , minimal smell

From Happoike Sanso to Mt. Karamatsu and Mt. GoryuI took the gondola from Tomi Ridge and Alps-daira to Toomi Station at the foot of the mountain. With this, it took me three years to connect Mt. Hakumadake to Mt. Kashima Yarigatake.The fork in front of the mountain hut at the top of Mt. Karamatsudake, one side was closed off by a pipe due to a collapse. It's pretty hard from this point onwards. I've been climbing for school in Shinshu, but this is where I put in my last effort. I was warmly welcomed at the hut.

It rained before we arrived at the mountain hut, so I tried to use the drying room, but it was up to the owner's mood, so I thought it was a bit disappointing. However, I was well aware that resources were scarce near the mountaintop, so I held back.

Stayed during Golden Week.Located right in front of Mt. Karamatsu, it is ideal for mountain climbing.You can see Mt. Tsurugidake, Mt. Goryu, and Mt. Hakumadake right in front of your eyes.

The tent field is closed because people with no manners are setting up tents in a lawless area. The hut is so far from the tent site that I have to climb a mountain to go to the toilet.Also, 4,000 yen per person per tent is too expensive under the above circumstances.I will never use it again.

I went beyond Kaeru no Ken in search of water, but unfortunately the helicopter was unloading.Over and over again, the helicopters were flying back and forth to unload cargo.Don't stop! I was told over and over again that the helicopter was coming so I should go inside and then get out so I could put my stuff in.The vending machine was out of water and Pocari, so when I asked the staff at the store, they told me they were busy right now, so please wait. That's what I was told.If I could just buy some water, I'd leave right away...I wonder if someone could take care of it, even if it's just one person.I felt sad that there were probably other climbers looking for water as well, and I felt like I was a nuisance.Thanks to everyone's efforts, climbers can buy water, food, and other necessities.I realized that I couldn't get anything like the convenience stores around town, whether they were sold out or in preparation.

Is it vinyl or plastic at lunchtime? It was burning and the black smoke was amazing.All the climbers having lunch around me said it smelled bad.It was a really bad experience

When I used it to stay in a hut, I was attacked by dust mites on my futon, and it took a lot of effort and money to remove the dust mites after I got home. Items that were difficult to dispose of were discarded. I've been to many mountain huts, including those overseas, but since the coronavirus outbreak, the cost of lodging has increased because of the restrictions on the number of people in the huts, so it's fine, but I would like them to take precautions against dust mites. Really disappointing. .

Visited in April 2017 and August 2024.The location is good and you can see the peak of Mt. Karamatsudake beautifully.Are the drinks a little expensive?

This is a large mountain hut that can accommodate a large number of people. There is a main building and an annex, and the rooms are bunk bed style. There is also a cafe space. The toilet is a simple flush. Although the weather on that day was terrible with heavy wind and rain, there were a large number of guests. When we were leaving, several staff members sent us off, telling us to go and be careful. I was happy.

I've stayed at maybe 20 mountain huts over the past 2 years, but this is the most overpriced mountain hut I've ever experienced.- 12,000 yen for a room without meals, without water.- 2,000 yen extra for same-day bookings, not advised over the phone.- Only water available is 600 yen for 500ml at the vending machine.- Many of the staff were rude, they seem like they're unhappy with their job.+ Location is amazing, right next to the summit

This is my first experience in a large room.Thanks to the large room, I was able to enjoy a fun conversation with two groups of highly experienced people.When you enter the room you were assigned, there are bunk beds on the left and right, with 4 people each on the lower and upper berths. There were 8 couples in the room assigned to me. There are 3 mattresses on each tier, 4 sets of comforters and blankets, and 4 pillows on each tier.As everyone has written, there seems to be a shortage of water. Although my life was inconvenient, I now understand the value of water.After using the toilet, flush with a small amount of water. Place the toilet paper in the provided trash can. Do not let it flow. You can't wash your hands, just use alcohol disinfection.Disposable tableware too. Although strict measures were taken not to use water, the rooms, hallways, and toilets were kept clean.I received a cup for lunch. It costs 600 yen including hot water. Beer is 800 yen, and Shiojiri wine (good value) is also available.

When I climbed Mt. Karasatsu, I had a problem where the soles of my shoes came off.I went to the mountain lodge to see if they could help me.Despite my sudden request, they provided me with first aid.I was able to descend the mountain safely.Thank you very much.
