Although it is undeniably old, I was able to spend a relaxing time in the room with a loft.Despite the reasonable price, the food was very delicious and I was very satisfied.I would like to use it again when I come to Hakuba.

What's not in the room? Air conditioner, toiletries such as tissues, hand towels (of course bath towels), toothbrushes, and a refrigerator. Outlets are inconvenient. People who are used to hotels these days, or people who visit this pension without knowing the level of service, may find it extremely inconvenient and unpleasant. On the other hand, the common baths seem to require a lot of money in terms of hot water specifications. However, it is fine for one person, but it is too small for two people. They don't have a huge selection of dishes, but they put a lot of effort into it.

It's a nice and simple B&B. The owners were friendly made breakfast every morning. Draw backs was the showers are only available from 16:00 to 21:00. That's a rough window when you are out enjoying the town.

It's a normal pension. I don't think there's anything special about Nani, but it's a very comfortable inn for me.

The tables in the restaurant are amazing. I was surprised that the table board was warped. If you look closely, you'll see that it's a single plank about 40cm thick. When I asked the master, he told me that it was made from a piece of spruce wood that was purchased from America when it was first founded. It is said that one table weighs about 1 ton. It seems that 10 people were needed to move it in. It seems that they initially considered using square timber for the legs, but it was not possible to support them. When I consulted with a lumberman, he told me that he had to bring round lumber from a large tree and put the top plate on it. The total weight of this table alone is over 3 tons. It seems that if it were a normal house, the floor would fall through. This is the work of an elaborate master. One of the pleasures is being able to eat at this table.

This Pension is not suitable for having fun in Hakuba.This season, I have stayed at many pensions and this one is the worst.The points are・No amenities, towel do need charge・No tissue paper in the room・No hair dryer in the bathroom・No microwave or hot water・Before check-in, you can't use the sharing space on the first floor (The refused reason is to concern we’ll make it dirty🫠ok fine but in my mind the share space is used for customers right?)・meanwhile, you couldn’t use dining space if you don’t make the meal reservation.People staying without meals are not allowed・The most thing I was unsatisfied is bathroom closing time as 21:00.Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort open until 21:00, so if you really want to enjoy time until resort closed, you will miss the shower time in this pension.Finally, we just want to enjoy our time in Hakuba, however the attitude of the owners is really bad that make me and my friends had such bad memories here. No matter the price(actually the price is not cheaper than others) , but the owner have different attitude to Japanese and foreigners, even we tried to communicate with the owner, she said if you are not satisfied with our pension, just check out!!🙄This is my first time to experience it, so I’d like to share and just refer for the tourists who will visited Hakuba

B&B not suitable for overnight staysI have stayed in many B&Bs and this is the worst. The following are the places where we stepped out after staying there, which you can use as a reference.·No toiletries, towels are charged·There are no tissues in the room·No hair dryer in the bathroom·No microwave and hot water (you need to ask the boss separately every time you need it)·You cannot use the public space on the first floor before moving in (the other party said it has been cleaned, but it will get dirty if you use it)·People who only stay overnight are not allowed to enter the restaurant (the boss said that only people who order food are guests, but they can enter the restaurant. Maybe people who are dining at their house are not considered guests)·The bathhouse can only be used until 21 o'clock. The night skiing at the nearby Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort is open until 21:00, so those who want to enjoy night skiing are best not to go here.·It was very cold in the room. Because it was an attic, the heater above could not reach it, so it was very cold.Finally, as a personal reflection, the shop owner has a very bad attitude and does not use honorifics. The shop owner takes the above rules as a matter of course, so people who are dissatisfied or have questions about these can choose not to stay (this is the original words the shop owner told us)All in all, I do not recommend foreigners to stay here. If you are unfortunate enough to stay and read my review, I can recommend you to report them. Because their home is completely not up to standard in terms of safety as a famous hotel. The lighting, soundproofing of the rooms, and recording of tourists' information also violate the B&B regulations.

I have stayed at various pensions near ski resorts in Nagano Niigata, and this was the most unpleasant.・There are no amenities, towels are charged・There is no tissue paper in the room・There is no hair dryer in the bathroom・No shared microwave/hot water (you can't get it unless you ask)・Before check-in, I couldn't use the common space on the first floor (I cleaned it, so I was refused because it would be dirty if I tried to use it...)・People staying overnight without meals are not allowed to enter the dining area even outside of meal times (I was refused entry because they said it was a place for customers to eat. Guests staying overnight without meals = not customers)・You can only take a bath until 9pm. The ski ski area at Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort is open until 9pm, so if you want to ski ski skis properly, you should stop here.・It was cold inside the room, it was in a loft, so the heating didn't reach the upper part, so it was very cold.・There is a lot of sound leakage (this can't be helped since it's an old pension)For the above reasons, this pension is not suitable for overnight stays or for stays of more than 2 days. There are too many restrictions, and I don't even have the bare essentials for my overnight stay, so staying for two days can't be called comfortable. This is only for this time.Lastly, the rules mentioned above are all the norm at this pension, so if you have any doubts, you should check it out.If you don't want to be asked according to normal pension standards, it's better to write more details on the hotel reservation site or office site.
