Although it's not as good as a long-established inn!Considering the price, it's obvious that the service is good, so I'd give it a 50 point!Will it work for customers who only know this place?Say “It’s gorgeous!”The food is elegant and the service is top notch.There's a gym and other facilities that are useless, so I don't think I'll use them.It was difficult because there was no mirror in the washing area of the public bath!Amenities are the worst!There are no hair products!Just a cotton swab and a brush!The amenities in the room are not good! All towels!If you don't bring your everyday amenities, you're out!If you don't have it, tell me first!Well, the equipment is poor considering the high price of accommodation!The attitude of the staff is smiling and speaking well, but it can't be denied that they are completely one-sided.Being polite doesn't mean it's good.If you go to a more considerate place with a veteran maid from another long-established inn that costs less than half the price here, you'll be ranked a few steps higher!This is an elegant Western hotel. Considering the price, the overall rating is 50 points!Better than Windsor at Lake Toya!The shop is just a bonus, and there are no vending machines either!You don't need a gym, so turn it into a coffee vending machine corner and sell Geisha bean coffee for 800 yen per paper cup!Well, at this price and this level, there will be no next time.Is it better than a star system that has some kind of misunderstanding?

Stayed in a suite on the mountain.Cars cannot be parked near the room. You will have to park your car in front of the main building reception. Therefore, after checking in at the main building, you will ride a cart to the Yamanoue Suite. The person at the reception desk was using a microphone to communicate with other staff members, and I was surprised to hear that his tone was quite rough. Even when I spoke to the foreign staff, they generally ignored me, probably because they didn't understand the language. The suite on the mountain offers sparkling wine and lemonade depending on the time of day, but there was no staff and 5 groups of guests had to wait for the staff to arrive. I was quite surprised by the situation, but I think that for a hotel of this size, there weren't enough staff. However, what was even more wonderful was the dinner and breakfast served in the main building.The food was very delicious and the staff serving us were top notch. The chef was always available to answer any questions I had, and he responded courteously. The breakfast buffet was the best of any hotel, and my husband and I were very satisfied. It was the most delicious thing I've ever had.Rather than saying I want to go to Karuizawa, I have a stronger intention of staying at this hotel again.The room was clean and I was able to relax.We were blessed with good weather, roses were in full bloom, Mt. Asama looked very beautiful, and we felt refreshed and out of the ordinary.The difficult part is that you have to call the cart over and over again and have to go up and down. Although it is an underground hot spring, it was very clean and nice.

I do not recommend weddings here. For those who are about to go. It's a gravel road, so your heels will be in tatters. The waiter working inside is also strange. Especially the hotels are the worst. There's nothing wrong with hiring foreigners, but if they are, why not give them the same guidance as if they were hired? It's really the worst hotel. Also, the same goes for indoors, but the way the cups are placed is facing upwards, so there's a lot of trash and it's disgusting. I didn't want to take a shower in the bathroom because it was full of mold, so I went to the hot springs, but the hot spring baths were all too hot...children aren't allowed in them.

I stayed in the top room, but when I called the front desk, which didn't have staff, they came right away, but I was worried that I would have to evacuate at my own discretion in the event of an emergency.There is only one commercial TV station on TV.It was difficult to connect to my cell phone and there was no prior explanation.

I stayed in a junior suite. The attention to antiques and the beauty of the wallpaper in the rooms and throughout the hotel are truly amazing, making it a perfect hotel. It is said that it took nine years from the start of construction to completion. It was one of the places I would definitely like to visit again.

Attending a relative's weddingMy daughter, son, and niece, who are preschoolers, were provided with a children's plate.One to two hours later, my daughter and son developed abdominal pain and diarrhea, and five hours later, my niece vomited three times.It appeared that the child had food poisoning due to food served to him, so since he was staying at the hotel, I checked to see if the same ingredients were used or if the same staff were in charge of the cooking. I was able to eat breakfast without any problems. However, even though I told them that I suspected food poisoning, I didn't receive any feedback or concerns after that, so I guess they ignored the fact even though I told them to the hotel. I received the impression that. Since it was my in-laws' wedding, I didn't want to cause trouble, so I didn't contact them again, but I felt a sense of distrust in everything from the food management to the cooking staff.Also, there is a waiting room across from the reception hall, a changing area, etc.At first glance, I have no idea what kind of building this is, which is very confusing.I got to the hotel early and let my kids play in the pool before heading to the changing area, but I was told that the waiting room was in a different place than where I left my suit etc., so I had to go back and forth to a building in a far away place. I was told to go to another building and change clothes, and when I was rushing to find a changing space with my child in my arms, some of the staff members noticed me and went to the back, so I didn't know where to go, so I asked. There are no staff who can help.I ended up accidentally going to the reception hall in the building in front of the building, and even before the ceremony started, the staff was too complicated to guide me, which made me very uncomfortable.- Foreign staff are often available,There were several situations where I ordered nightwear for children but received adult nightwear, I was told that the spa in the hotel was not a hot spring, and I was forced to do it twice because I couldn't get the information I wanted right away. .There was a small refrigerator with a transparent door like a wine cooler, but the beer inside was very lukewarm and I asked if the refrigerator was broken, but the temperature had dropped considerably. They didn't even confirm that it wasn't, and the room of a relative who was staying in a separate room was cooling like a normal refrigerator, so it was obvious that they were using a broken refrigerator. The Western-style interior was very nice. The rooms are spacious, chic and have a calm atmosphere. The staff was attentive and the breakfast and dinner were delicious! What was disappointing was the lack of basic cosmetic amenities. I thought that a hotel of this class would have almost all the amenities, so I didn't bring any with me, and the only thing I had was hand soap. That's really the only negative point. It's better to bring it from home.

Pros: very nice, very spacious rooms and common areas. Great service from every employee. Onsen water was fantastic, especially for the skin.Negatives: the breakfast was pretty bad, on par with a Route Inn. It’s a bit out of the way. The mattresses were cheap and pretty worn.It’s a very nice place from spring to fall as there are a lot of outside spaces to sit and enjoy the slightly remote area and nature.

I stayed here on a family trip after a long time.It's a calm, European-style building that makes you feel like you've stepped into a Harry Potter movie.The room was clean and had two large TVs and the heating worked well.The bathroom and shower room were also stylish, but I didn't use them because they had a hot spring facility, which is rare in Karuizawa.The hot spring in the main building has an open-air bath and a sauna room, so even if you don't take a cold bath, you can be cooled by the outside air.By the way, the temperature that morning was -4℃.Breakfast was a buffet type with plenty of meat dishes.I am very satisfied with the taste and variety.Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and we had a great time.

The architectural hardware has the feel of a French manor hotel, and the interior decoration and furnishings are very thoughtful. It is located halfway up the Karuizawa mountain, so transportation is a bit inconvenient, but you can easily see the priceless and beautiful Mount Asama. The waiters who serve dinner at French restaurants insist on being elegant and not too hasty, but what they don’t understand is that the kitchen is as fast as eating out of McDonald’s. A restaurant with a very elegant atmosphere and beautiful presentation means the food is the most delicious. The first piece of bread was full of wheat aroma and just the right softness, but the second piece was just ordinary. The most incomprehensible thing was the steak soaked in a braised soup. Breakfast is like a European restaurant. The coffee and black tea are served by the waiter at the table, but after pouring half a cup, he never came back. If there is insufficient manpower, wouldn't it be much easier to use self-service? The hotel has a great hot spring bath attached, but it is under management. There is a conflict between the French style and the Japanese style. They insist on being elegant when leaving the room. They do not provide slippers for the bath. It is dangerous to enter wearing paper slippers. There are no slippers or floor heating in the bathroom in the bathhouse. If you want to go to the bathroom, you have to step on the ice floor with bare feet. Isn't this rude? The next day, the general manager saw the guests off in person. He looked like a gentleman but had white hair. He must have worked hard.
