I rarely review hotels and rarely choose this type of B&B. This time, my company booked it for me on a business trip. To be honest, I personally don't like the accommodation environment without bathing facilities. But this hotel has a tidy environment, every place is clean, the interior has a light woody aroma, and the reception staff are also very welcoming. Although many other places in Japan say that Wakayama is like a rural area, to be honest, the comfortable feeling Wakayama brings to people is not comparable to other places. In addition to the refreshing natural scenery, the most important thing is the warm-hearted and friendly locals.

It was close to the sea and had been renovated and was beautiful. There is a shower where you can wash your feet before entering. There is a hanger on the balcony where you can dry your swimwear. The refrigerator is shared on the first floor. No elevator, only stairsThe bath is shared, so it's not suitable for people who want to stay in it 24 hours a day.

The rooms are very simple, and there are shared baths, but there is Shirarayu nearby, so I recommend that. (Closed on Thursdays)What is noteworthy is the price and the breakfast and evening meals! This food is amazing at 1/3 the price compared to other places! I was very satisfied with the taste and quantity! Also, since Shirarahama Beach is right next to it, we recommend taking a walk in the morning or evening.Since the futon is thin, I think it will be easier to sleep if you bring your own camping mat!

I used it as a 1 night 2 day trip with my partner.Although it is a small guesthouse with about 6 rooms, I thought it was a very comfortable stay as the cleaning and other services were thorough. On the way to the room, the entrance had a wooden door with a retro feel that reminded me of my grandparents' house. When I entered the room, I noticed that it had been renovated. It was (probably) a clean tatami room, and the plumbing was new and clean. We only had breakfast, but it was a Western-style breakfast (omelets, sausages, salads, soup, etc.) that was in contrast to the atmosphere of the building and room. The taste was as amazing as it looked. When I spoke with the employees, I was told that the business is being run by two sisters (in their 20s) who have taken over the business from the previous generation, and while retaining the retro charm of the previous generation, they have also incorporated a youthful sense into the family home. This is the kind of guesthouse that combines comfort and a special feeling. If I have a chance to come to Shirahama again, I would like to stay with you again.

I stayed there with my wife and daughter. Although it is an old guesthouse, the toilet and sink are new, and the shared bath on the first floor is also well maintained.I think the main feature and selling point of this guesthouse is the food. Both dinner and breakfast are served in the room, and the dinner in particular is better than a regular inn. Tempura and dessert are amazing. I was surprised that even the children's lunches were homemade, even the hamburgers! I've stayed at many inns and hotels, but this is the first time I've stayed at a place where even the hamburgers are made by hand. The tempura was also very home-cooked and delicious. Desserts are of course handmade, and at this price, I wonder where they're going to make a profit from this meal! The breakfast was so homemade that my wife and daughter had a lot of leftovers, and they both said it was delicious. However, my wife and daughter don't have the habit of eating breakfast, so it tasted like a bland Western breakfast. The room was also well maintained. Of course, the rooms themselves may be unsatisfactory compared to hotels and inns, but you will never feel like it's a waste of money to stay just by looking at the food.It seemed like it was run by two young sisters, and I felt that young people were working hard.I was too full to eat the free ice cream I received, but I think I'd like to try it next time I stay there. My only slight disappointment was that the Wi-Fi signal was so weak that I could hardly use it. I wish they would pay more attention to Wi-Fi when using a repeater.

I went there when it was windy! It's the last day of the trip! (*^^*) I stayed for one night on November 24th! From what I saw, the rooms were small, but they were very nice and clean. Dinner was also super delicious, and the homemade plum juice and plum soda were very sour and delicious! (*^^*) Moreover, it is run by the (inn) sisters! Thank you for your help in that section. I support you from the bottom of my heart. Good luck! Please read my reviews and give it a try.I forgot to take a picture of dinner, but I did take a picture of breakfast, so please take a look. It was really delicious. This is a photo seen from the parking lot (3rd photo)

Although the building is old, it was kept clean and comfortable. Also, the people at the hostel had a very nice atmosphere. It is close to Gourmet City, convenience stores, and the beach, and is a reasonable choice for those who value location in Shirahama, where lodging costs are high.
