The delicious food and homely inn will make you want to come back again and again.Dinner is a course meal that starts with salad, followed by fish and meat dishes, two types of pasta (you can also use pizza🍕), and dessert. What's more, you can have as many servings of pasta as you like 🆗, so not only is it delicious, but you'll be full and satisfied 😁

Biggest thank you to Jun and his wonderful family for hosting myself and my 7 friends |The rooms were clean and perfect for what we needed (which says a lot for a group of 8 females), and the heated floors were perfect! …

8 of us just spent 6 nights at Pension Syo on a girls snow trip and our stay here was the highlight of our trip! Jun, Yoko & Hina run this beautiful family owned lodge and were genuinely the happiest people in Japan, always so helpful and friendly as we tried to coordinate our large group logistics! The rooms were so cute with heated floors, lots of shared bathrooms and two bath/onsen rooms downstairs to soothe sore muscles from days on the mountains. We had breakfast most days which was always so delicious and healthy and our hosts genuinely felt like our Japanese family. We were so sad to leave and they made our experience incredible right up until the last moment when they waved our bus goodbye.Thank you to Jun, Yoko & Hina for such a memorable visit to Hakuba <3

Stayed for five nights. Jun さん and other staff are super friendly. If you don’t understand Japanese, we will use Google Translate to try to communicate with you👍There is a drying room and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel.Clear explanation when checking in. Breakfast is simple and delicious👍If you don’t have a reservation at another restaurant for Hakuba dinner, you can eat the shabu-shabu in the restaurantAt 7:00 in the morning, 3 Jun さん took the initiative to check out. Guo Nizhong sent me to the JR station. It feels like home. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Li Baima👍

We stayed in another lodge in Echoland but dined at Syo twice. It's very difficult to find a table for 5 in most Echoland restaurants but Syo had space and their food is delicious, filling and good value after a day of skiing. We enjoyed their arrabiata and bolognese pasta, and the pizzas are good too. The service is attentive and friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming. ありがとうございました

We weren't staying here but came for dinner as many of the restaurants on the main street can be booked out. We remembered this little gem from years ago and it's still the same - amazing! The staff are so very friendly and the restaurant is actually reasonably large by Japanese standards, they have a lovely lounge area with a fire place and a few games if you need to wait for a table or if the children finish first and want something to do.The food is wonderful, I had the Gorgonzola Rissotto and I feel like I'm going to be craving it every night from now on, so full of flavour, tastes very decadent.Husband loved his ribs. They also do shabu-shabu, a hot pot type meal you cook at the table which we will try tomorrow, looked yum.Fair prices, could probably fit larger groups if you book.Highly recommend.
