You can travel back in time to the Showa era!The employees are extremely kind and nice.Depending on the room, there were Japanese-style and Western-style rooms. My room was also equipped with a mini-fridge, toilet, and bathroom. There are 4 to 5 washing machines in total and they cost 100 yen. There also seems to be a system where you can wash, dry, and iron your laundry for 1,000 yen for 2-3 days at a time, and if you bring it to the front desk by 7:00 pm, it will be returned at 11:00 pm. Even at a coin laundry, it costs 1,000 yen to wash and dry clothes, so I think this is a great service. There are also many breakfast items that will fill you up😅disadvantagesThere are a lot of mosquitoes coming in 😅Especially the bathtub! However, I have an Earth Nostalgic Mat that is very nostalgic and I can sleep in peace. There is an Asahi Shimbun newspaper next door, and from around 2:30 in the morning, you can hear quite disturbing noises, which may bother some nervous people. I woke up😅Overall, Kamikura Shrine and Kumano Hayatama Shrine are both 5 minutes away by car, and there is a small shopping street, so you can easily take a walk, so it is recommended for those who want to experience the Showa era.I liked it!

During Golden Week, it was difficult to find a place to stay, so I decided to stay at this inn, which was the only one available. …

Bathrooms and toilets are shared, and amenities are minimal, but the price is kept low accordingly. The employees were kind. It's an old-fashioned style inn, but perhaps because the rooms were small, there was a water fountain on the tatami mats, so it was so small that I had to wash my hands while standing on the futon. You also take turns using the communal baths, so an employee will call out to you when a bath is open. Mr. Shingu's specialty is sushi, so it might be a good idea to bring your own food to eat. You can buy what you need at a convenience store near Shingu Station or a supermarket a few minutes walk from your inn.

The prices are low, the atmosphere is family-like, and breakfast only is also good. However, the building is quite old. May not be recommended for young women.

There is a shopping street on the right hand side of Shingu Station, where you can see Lawson. After entering the street and walking for a while, you will see a signboard for Hase Ryokan, so turn right and you will arrive. It takes a few minutes on foot. I think the location is extremely convenient for access from the station. The entire inn and rooms have deteriorated over time, but they are kept clean and there are no problems. There seemed to be a lot of users. When I checked out, even though it was early in the morning, the landlady saw me off, which became a good memory of my time in Shingu.
