This is the best accommodation that is quiet and has everything. It's nice to have space to store your luggage before and after check-in and check-out times. You can get around more easily if you have the recommended stores and guide map provided by Anko-san around your accommodation. The neighborhood is generally quiet and there are not many open stores, so it feels a bit far away, but you need to understand the uniqueness of the village. It will be beneficial if you take a trip to a small town as an opportunity to experience it with your whole body. You can cook simple meals in the common space and make your own coffee.Showers and use of hair dryers are prohibited after 11 p.m., and it was nice that other guests also observed this. Next time I visit Wakayama, I would like to visit again and have a beer at the bar in the lobby on the first floor. See you again~

I stayed for 2 nights in a dormitory. It was a 4 person room, 2 people on bunk beds, 2 people on tatami futons, and at check-in I was assigned the furthest futon in the back.I don't usually stay at guesthouses so it's hard to compare, but it was clean and comfortable. It's a bit of a walk from Wakayama Station, so if you have a lot of luggage, it may feel a little far away. It's also close to Arochi, so there are many places to drink at night within walking distance.

Incredible guesthouse. The staff is super sweet and helpful, the decoration is very wholesome and the rooms are incredibly spacious, cozy and provided with every device you might need (full kitchen, washing machine...). Plus they have discounts for nearby public baths, bike rental a bar and coffee shop inside the guesthouse. It's a pure gem.

This was my favourite accommodation out of the 7 places I lived at during my Japan trip. I stayed in the private en suite double room for 2 nights, and it was an absolute oasis! Warehousey industrial design with a comfortable bed, significant common space, and a lovely kitchen. The hostel provides a kitchen set for rental at a very decent price, or you may choose to use the shared kitchen amenities on the ground floor. The bathroom and toilet is separate, which is uncommon for Japanese accommodation. The crowd downstairs consists of visitors and locals using the bar and co-working space. A summer festival took place while I was there and there was refreshing cold somen and live kusic, enjoyed by lots of families with kids. The vibe downstairs is chilled and laid back. Perfect for hanging out or having quiet time to yourself. The staff are so kind and wonderful I cannot stress enough!!

Super sweet hostel in good location.Dorm rooms are clean and spacious. The mattress is a bit hard, but we slept well. The common rooms are decorated with much love for detail. We rented bikes there and that was super easy. Supermarkets and small bars and cafes are around the corner. Staff is lovely and very helpful.

Loved staying here. The bar below is quite a busy place in the evening so it’s fun to hang out there to meet new people. The rooms are clean and cozy.

The overall hardware is good and cost-effective. It is recommended except for the window covering problem in the room. There is a public bath next to it and it has good reviews.

Like an up-market Youth Hostel |A lovely vibe with very friendly hosts. We only stayed one night (on the way to the Kumano Kodo) but could have easily stayed longer.|Our family of 5 stayed in a room with 4 sets of bunks. …
