The owner was extremely rude and unreasonable to us, and very xenophobic.We informed the owner that we would be arriving after dinner. She did not reply to our email. When we arrived, there was no one at the place. We waited for about half an hour but no one showed up to check us in. About half an hour later, the owner showed up in the house and didn't even say hello. She started scolding us in Japanese (even though she clearly could speak English) and told us to "please obey Japanese manners". She kept emphasizing that it was "the rules" that we had to check in before entering our rooms and that she was "very busy running two hostels", even though she did not communicate to us the time she would have been available.

The location of the B&B is very good, very close to the station. But if you don’t tell the B&B landlord what time you plan to check in after submitting the order, she will be angry.In addition, the weather on the day of check-in was bad, and it was windy until early in the morning. Due to the poor airtightness of the windows in the room, the wind kept making a clanging sound during this period, making it very difficult to fall asleep.However, the basic functions of this B&B are complete, with bathrooms, kitchens, and public seating areas, and the bedding is very comfortable. I personally love the mattress here.Therefore, if you want to stay here, you must remember to check the inbox of the order platform after the order is confirmed successfully. After receiving the message, do not think that it is an automatic reply to the order.

Lovely old house, close to the station. Clean and cozy. The woman who greeted us was very nice. There is a well equipped kitchen which we used.

An antique Japanese old-fashioned building, suitable for people who like to experience Japanese culture. Although it is an old house, the facilities are very complete. The toilet is clean and comfortable, but the sound insulation of the wooden boards is not very good. This is a limitation of the old wooden houses.
