We had such a wonderful time during our stay! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the dinner was absolutely fantastic. We loved every dish – beautifully presented and so delicious. I also got to enjoy a complimentary ume drink from the bar, which was a nice touch. The onsen experience was unforgettable, especially with the stunning outdoor view of the sea. I loved how they switched the male and female baths so everyone could enjoy it.This stay felt like stepping into a secret world, and I’ll never forget it. Thank you for an amazing experience!!!

I came here for two days and one night to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday.Speaking of Nachikatsuura, it was Hotel 〇jima (lol), but I decided on this one at the request of my wife who was watching Joe Blog's YouTube. It is located on a small remote island that can only be reached by boat. You park your car in a special parking lot, and although there are security cameras, it's unmanned at night, so as a car lover, I'm a little worried. It's made to look like a luxury inn, but perhaps because the ship is in disrepair, it's hot and the air conditioning isn't working. It's bearable because it takes less than 10 minutes each way, but it suddenly felt uncomfortable. When we arrived at the pier at 3 o'clock, which would be the earliest check-in time, there were people who looked like they were already fishing, but there was no information that said, ``You can go fishing.''The approach from the pier to the entrance of the inn is lined with large stones, making it difficult to see whether it's stylish or sloppy. The front desk is very busy as everyone arrives all at once by boat.I fill out the guest list in advance, so it's somewhat easy to follow, but I have mixed feelings about it because I'm careful about being shown around before other guests, and I don't want to be put off. It was check-in.I made a complete mistake in choosing the room. perhaps. lolI had chosen the old building, thinking that it would be fine in this price range (about 120,000 yen for two people). The hair dryer is from Hotel Shima! Is it an old type of wall hanging that you don't see these days? It's like a toilet seat.I was so shocked that I forgot to take a picture. lolThe open-air bath in the large public bath was completely visible from the guest rooms!Women are required to wear bath clothes! That's the negative part. There is a promenade from the roof of the old building, and although there is a slight slope, you can reach the observation deck in about 10 minutes. There is also a footbath up to the observation deck, so if you go during the good season, it will be nice! Unfortunately, it was a hot day so I didn't feel like going in.Matsushima in Kino was the best, with a spectacular view and a pleasant breeze! All the staff were polite and gave me a good impression.Since I was also celebrating my 60th birthday, there were beautiful flowers in the room. It's a corner room, so you can clearly see the dolphin enclosure, and maybe an old man feeding it? When we arrived, the dolphins were flying around. lolBy the way, the dolphins here are not meant to be eaten, but are shipped to aquariums across the country. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was very delicious. The serving staff were also very attentive and I had a very pleasant meal.Katsuura Onsen has also been selected as one of Japan's top 100 hot springs, and has a strong sulfur smell, a salty taste, and is a slightly cloudy hot spring of the highest quality. There were also two private baths, and although the view was a little strange since it was night, the ocean was close and the quiet sound of the waves was very nice.

I wish I could give 10 stars. Everything was perfect from beginning till end. We stayed here 1 night but wish we could stay longer. All the staff was super nice, the onsen was good and clean, the food was the best food we ate during our three weeks in Japan, the service was amazing, the room was amazing with nice view, everything was clean. After this hotel we stayed in a 5 star hotel but honestly this hotel was way better and I am surprised it doesn’t have 5 stars. I would recommend this hotel to everybody, on the top you can have a nice hike as well. Also I am vegetarian and that can be a bit difficult in Japan, but they had a whole menu for vegetarian people as wel. And the staff also speaks a little english which is nice compared to other hotels where they don’t. I felt really welcome here and like we could relax and enjoy in a paradise.

I visited for the first time as an elderly couple for two days and one night. It's a quick Shinkansen ride from Shin-Yokohama to Nagoya on Nozomi, but it takes about 4 hours from Nagoya. It was long. There is no on-board sales, and I checked if there were vending machines at the stations along the way, so I bought some in Nagoya before arriving.Great service from the ship's waiting room to the room 👍 The bath we are proud of is a hot spring with a sulfur smell ♨️! Skin is smooth! Dinner was also delicious with sashimi and famous beef shabu-shabu.The miso soup with clams for breakfast is so delicious that I need a second helping😋🧐 is high in alcoholAlthough I used it on Saturday and Sunday, it was not crowded and I had a pleasant time.

Take a boat from the pier to your accommodation. That alone increases the tension. I cast a line in front of the hotel, and by 7pm I had caught a fish, so they served it to me for dinner. …

I went with my family, including my grandmother.First of all, I was excited to go to the hotel by boat, which is a rather unusual means of transportation! When you arrive, the staff will welcome you.Welcome service includes access to the lounge. The drinks and sweets were delicious and satisfying! The museum is spacious and although it was a bit of a pain to move around, it was spacious and there was a lot to see, so no matter how many times I went back and forth, I never got tired of it!It was really nice to have a space to lie down in the open-air bath. It was great to see it blending in with the sea!And dinner was amazing, no complaints! ! I guess the only people who complain about this are self-proclaimed critics. (lol) Thanks to the kindness of the head chef, we even included a service, which made my grandmother very happy! thank you!Breakfast is also delicious and satisfying! !I could see the dolphins being trained from my room! I can't post the video because it has voice, but it was cute! 🐬If there is one thing that bothers me a little, it is that I could see the open-air bath from my room window (lol)Do women wear blue? I don't think it's a big problem since they wear something like this, but I wonder if that's the case for men? I had poor eyesight and couldn't see clearly, but I could almost see a naked man.Other than that, I'm really satisfied and would like to come again!

The location, service, and food were great. There was a dolphin in a cage a little far away, and I could sometimes see it jumping.
