I stopped by in September 2023.It was hot so I went to eat some soft serve ice cream before catching the ferry home.The owner and his wife were both friendly and the soft serve ice cream was delicious. Meals are sometimes only available to those with reservations, but other times you're lucky and it's worth it. You can relax and enjoy your meal.On this day, a female college student was running a cafe somewhere on the island, and I was lured into coming to the island by her, but when I told my wife about it, she said, ``It's a man's saga, isn't it?'' . Although I only ate one soft serve ice cream, I still had a great time.

Departed at 2pm, only few of shop open on this island. One is nearly the front pier and this is the second one. The owner is very nice and provide a make sense curry rice in serve. Highly recommend if you go cat island.

Was desperately hungry after travelling in ferry without lunch. Found this comfy guesthouse served with Seafood curry rice. 800 yen for a set and it did save me. Would recommend others to come for refreshment before the departure/ after the arrival.

[Kagawa Ogijima] Chilled ramen (600 yen)I came to Kagawa Prefecture to admire cats. I came to Ogijima, one of Japan's 5 largest cat islands⛴As soon as I arrived in the afternoon, I wasn't even looking for the cat lolAs I was walking and wondering what to do, I got hungry, so I followed the sign and went to the store.It looks like a guesthouse. It looks like they serve food in there.It didn't seem like there was a menu, and the wife was like, "What do we have now?" lolIt was hot so I ordered cold ramen.At first, it didn't seem like the flavor I ordered was available, so I thought anything would be fine, so I ordered it.The one that came out was probably an instant one. It's okay, this is it. It felt like coming to a friend's house. A taste of peace of mind.When I asked about the cat, she said it was hot so she might be hiding somewhere. They seem to come out in the evening, and as I took a leisurely stroll around the island, I met about 10 cats.And I miss it so much.Wow, I was healed!

The house, which is over 100 years old, has been turned into a guesthouse. It's like staying at a couple's house and having dinner in their living room.There are only 3 rooms on the 2nd floor, with shared bathrooms and toilets. There is no TV, kettle, or nightwear in the room. A clean home bath is refilled for each group and each group takes turns using it, but towels, shampoo, hair dryers, etc. are provided in the bathroom. If you ask for a toothbrush, you will receive a disposable toothbrush. If you are staying for several nights, you can lock the room with a padlock.For dinner, you can enjoy very delicious home-cooked food at a low price, such as the simmered sea bream and tuna that you were swimming with earlier, so it's better to eat it.On the second floor, there is a common space similar to a youth hostel, and you can use the refrigerator freely. On the first floor, families gather together every night, and the sound is quite loud, so it's recommended for people who don't mind that kind of thing. I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Landed on the island on a mid-afternoon flight. When I went to the inn to leave my luggage, the room was ready. The tea in the room was very delicious. …
