Highly recommended accommodation in Shodoshima. From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and attitude of the owner. Every little detail of the accommodation and meals can be seen from the owner's care. The meals are delicious and varied. We enjoyed a wonderful holiday here.

Highly recommended if you're staying on Shodoshima.First of all, the food was amazing, and the hearty dinner centered on local fish was very good. Due to the limited number of guests per day, it was a wonderful and private experience that far exceeded the price.The rooms, bathrooms, and other facilities were new, clean, and comfortable.We recommend taking a walk around the area. You can rent an electric bicycle, so you can explore the nearby fishing port and beach. The townscape also had a nostalgic atmosphere, and although the location was different, I could feel the atmosphere of the childhood home where my relatives lived, which I had almost forgotten.Shodoshima is large, but if you have the chance, I think it would be a good idea to stay in a quiet place like this.

After searching the entire Shodoshima, I found it to be the best place to stay. We were the only group of guests to check in that day (we only receive 1-2 groups of guests per day on weekdays), and we ordered a hotel room and two meals. Since our companions were vegetarians, we contacted the hotel via email beforehand and the communication was good. The meals are exquisite and attentive. Although the hot springs are shared bathhouses, because we were the only ones that day, there were two and three bathtubs available for use. You can also borrow bicycles for free. The rooms are exquisite and clean, and the wooden houses are very comfortable. The reception staff are very friendly and the accommodation experience is very good. If I have the opportunity to visit Shodoshima again, it will be my only choice.

Yes it’s a bit out of the way. But isn’t that why you are coming to Shodoshima - to escape from the crowd and have a bit of peaceful time?Food is amazing. No doubt. We had a feast. Great hospitality as well. We don’t speak Japanese but we didn’t encounter any issue during our stay. We certainly had a lovely time.Quite a few interesting artwork from previous festivals nearby as well!Arigatou!p.s. remember to let them know your arrival time so they can prepare the dinner for you at the right time!

It looks like a large house that has been very well maintained. When you open the wooden door and enter, you can see the well-kept garden filled with lovely flowers like tea flowers through the glass. As everyone has written, the food was beyond amazing. The chef's skill with the filefish and flounder was outstanding, and the funamori was superb. Thank you very much. It would be more realistic to write down some of the things I was concerned about.I would have liked the temperature of the hot spring to be hotter, but I was happy with the nice hot water and fluffy towels. I had a really fun and elegant time.

The location is exceptionally beautiful, secluded and tranquil, with direct but not very frequent bus connections. The staff is exceptionally caring and friendly, and the food is extraordinarily delicious, crafted with the highest quality local ingredients and featuring a new, unique daily menu. The rooms and facilities are in excellent condition and meticulously maintained. I stayed for 2 nights, but wish I had booked a longer stay.The place is very beautiful, located in a quiet and quiet area, and there are direct buses, but they are not frequent. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly, the food is extremely delicious using top quality local ingredients, and there is a new and unique menu each day. The rooms and facilities are in excellent condition and meticulously maintained. I stayed for 2 nights and wish I had booked a longer stay.
