Most of the positive reviews of this hotel come from the previous owners, a couple who were friendly and provided a port pick-up service.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀After changing the operator, there were many negative reviews on both Google Maps and booking.com. I think it was due to the failure of expectations for good reviews. The current operating policy adopts self-service check-in, and there will be no one to receive you. Contacting the operator by phone or message may not necessarily result in a response.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀After making an accommodation reservation a few days ago, I politely wrote to ask if there is a port pick-up service. After the operator said that he could not help, he politely wrote to ask if he could reserve a taxi on his behalf (because the local taxi company only accepts phone reservations, but I am worried I don’t understand the language, so I hope to ask the hotel operator for help), but the other party still refused coldly.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀In the past few times, I have inquired through letters with other Japanese hotel or B&B operators, and I have always felt that they are polite and friendly. Although I am a foreigner, I pay special attention to politeness when writing in Japanese, so I felt bad when I received a direct and cold reply. Not to mention that other cheaper business hotels can provide valet taxi booking services. This place is more like an airbnb daily rental suite than a B&B or hotel.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀In the end, I chose Sky Hotel Hailu, which is closer to Angel Road. The price is cheaper, it also provides taxi reservation services, and more importantly, the replies are polite.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀For those who want a good price, close to Angel Road, and clean rooms, this is still a good choice. But those expecting a friendly reception from their hotel hosts may be disappointed.

I called them because some customers were making loud noises even after 11 p.m., but they didn't answer the phone even though they said in the email that they would be available until 12 p.m.I think the sound is leaking from here as well, but I can hear the sound of doors opening and closing and walking in the hallway all the way into the room.

The restaurant is run by the owner and his wife, and the owner is very welcoming and kind. For the past few years, I've visited him every year on motorcycle tours. There are 5 bikes, and at most 9. The location was good, and the accommodation was reasonably priced. Since you can only stay overnight without meals, it is not suitable for those who expect to be prepared with a set meal, but I think it is the best accommodation for those who can do everything on their own. Convenience stores, drug stores, Super Marunaka, hot spring facilities, Angel Road, Maze Town, gas stations, laundromats, restaurants, beaches, etc. are all within walking distance, so you can find anything as long as you move. It was a nice stay. I'm looking forward to the day we can meet again. Finally, the master's ship! I wanted to ride it. Thank you so much.

Although I can't speak Japanese, I could feel the enthusiasm of the hotel owner.I didn't meet him in Japanese, but I felt the passion of an old man at a restaurant. And the last wagon was sent to Takamatsu, where it sailed through the port.
