If you are going on foot, please be careful as you will have to climb a moderately sloping mountain path.I walked from Nachi Station, but I was only looking at the sides and forgot to climb up, so I had to walk back up that hill after coming back from Daimonzaka on the Kumano Kodo.I don't think it's something to be too defensive about.When you leave the hotel, go down the mountain, and hit the road, there is a bus stop in front of you, but the bus here arrived 10 minutes early, so I recommend waiting early. I had to wait an extra hour.The mother who ran the business was a nice person.There are no vending machines around, so if you say you're thirsty, you'll receive a commercially available cold bottle of water for free.I didn't notice the notice that told me to call from the in-room phone when I left, and when I returned 4 or 5 hours later, I was greeted with a kind "Welcome back."I am sorry that I noticed this when you checked out.The bedding was clean, there was a working air conditioner, a TV, and a bath.

It's very quiet and comfortable.On the other hand, for those who place importance on "cleanliness", the facilities and the hotel's long history (although not necessarily unclean) may be of concern in terms of construction and appearance. You could also say that you can see some parts of it.However, I wondered if all country inns were like this. (Even if you spend 20,000 yen or 30,000 yen, old inns in the countryside may have disappointing facilities and cleaning.)By the way, I didn't feel that the futon was itchy. I only had a short interaction with him, but I think the manager must be someone who likes cleanliness.So, it was a good stay for me.Lastly, this may not be directly related to the inn, but at 9pm, ``Furusato'' is played loudly from what appears to be a nearby town hall. The rooms at Katsuura Seaside Hotel are really spacious and relaxing. The bath in the room is the size of a normal home, so you can take a relaxing bath. However, there are no places to eat or convenience stores nearby, so it might be best to buy some before going to the hotel. ️Also, I think it would be tough without a car~⤵️It depends on the location of your room, but you can see the ocean and the view is amazing🤭 The lady working at the hotel seems to be kind and will carefully guide you to the front of your room. You can spend a quiet day.

Cars and motorcycles can be parked on the first floor of each room. Might be good for people who don't want to get their bike wet.The equipment is quite old, but the cleaning is very thorough so I personally don't mind.

Really nice place that is really big. It's a little out of town and I didn't fancy walking on the very narrow fast moving main road but there is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill which is really handy. The place is a little dated but everything is clean and tidy and very comfortable. The owner is lovely too.

There is a sofa in the small living room on the first floor and a sofa bed on the second floor.There is a separate bathtub in the bathroom. I was tired so I caught it while passing by. The view of the beach is nice. The staff is friendly.It's an unmanned hotel type.

2023.7.28 nights 5,000 yen per room per night without meals.Before making the reservation, I called and asked if it would be okay if I arrived around 12pm at night, and they graciously agreed, so I immediately made a reservation and visited. An older woman answered the call, but was she the owner?Thank you very much. Thanks to this, I was able to take some good photos at Hashikui Rock.I will use you again when I go to Nachikatsuura area.The building and equipment are old, but it's good enough for just sleeping. The bath is spacious and the toilet also has a washlet. The room is large and has a sofa.I had an early departure the next morning, so all I had to do was sleep, and although I wasn't able to relax in my room, I slept well.There are empty refrigerators, microwaves, and kettles, but there are no vending machines, so it's best to bring your own if you need them.
