This resort hotel reminded me of the facilities that i saw from old Japanese movies, but in a good way. Cozy and Classic. Their service was very attentive and warm. It is very hard to experience this type of human touch at a hotel ever since the hotel culture changed all for efficiency. Upon arrival, the door staffs helped us to park safely using flash lights and unloaded our luggage. They already put our luggage in our room when we got in. It was a late check-in so, we rushed to dinner buffet and when we got back to our room, they already made our bed ( the Japanese traditional HUTON) for all 4 members of our family. I mean i believe it is a standard Japanese traditional resort service but still very impressive and satisfactory.

I arrived at Sakate Port and was picked up from the hotel by myself, but he came to pick me up. The driver was also very nice. The hotel entrance lobby also had a great view and the welcome drink made me feel relieved. The staff were also very kind. However, it felt old because there was no outlet near the bedside (for charging mobile phones) and the lights in the room could not be turned off unless they were near the entrance, but it was clean and I had a comfortable stay. There was free water in the room which was nice. The view from the room was also great.I don't know much about the food since I stayed without meals, but if you're looking for a hotel, I recommend this place.

Three people stayed here. The temperature in the open-air bath was the highest, but it was pitch black all over, so I can't say it had a great view.I didn't have high expectations for the food since it was a buffet, but it exceeded my expectations in a good way.

Room: Although a little old, there were no problems and the view was nice.Pool: It was crowded with children. It's small, but I guess that's what it is.Bath: The temperature of the sauna was so low that it wasn't really a sauna at all. I managed to raise the temperature by creating a breeze with a towel, but the water bath was too warm this time, leaving me lukewarm. Don't expect a sauna. The bath itself was spacious and the open-air bath side was also relaxing. It was fun to choose from a variety of shampoo conditioners. I don't know what I put in what case, so I'm glad that the cups are different colors.Meal: It was a buffet, but it was delicious. I had an all-you-can-drink option and drank alcohol, but I was satisfied. I don't think there was any local alcohol available. .

The view from the room was good, and the staff were kind and attentive. The bath on the top floor was exposed to harsh sunlight, and the open-air bath smelled like soy sauce. We had a buffet both in the morning and in the evening, but it didn't really suit our tastes.

I was truly impressed by the staff's excellent customer service from the time I arrived until the time I checked out and took the ferry back 😭 The Olive Bus stopped going to the hotel, and even though it was late at night, the staff graciously came to pick me up at Yasuda. Thank you very much 🙇 Next time I will go to Shodoshima again to stay at this hotel 😀I was very satisfied with the breakfast, location, and public bath. thank you very much.
