Regardless of the small details, the open-air bath is very nice. It's spacious and has a free-flowing bath, and there's a bug-proof light outside the bath (a type that kills bugs), so I felt safe enjoying the open-air bath even on a summer night, although I'm sorry for the bugs.

Used by myself on weekdays for a pilgrimage to a sacred place. It has a quaint Showa-era atmosphere! You can warm up the hot spring and stay in it for a long time! Even more so since it was right around the time of autumn leaves! However, the open-air bath might be a bit cold in the winter. Since it was reserved for private use, I was able to bathe in front of the air outlet, so it was fine. The indoor bath was nice and warm. It's lukewarm water though. The food was plentiful and all delicious!
