A hotel surrounded by a somewhat nostalgic splendor reminiscent of the Showa bubble period. As soon as you step inside, the dazzling interior catches your eye. Marble floors, brightly colored carpets, heavy chandeliers, and lots of furniture. It was a luxurious space that made you feel as if you had traveled back in time. When I visited the public bath, I was surprised to find that, despite its retro atmosphere, it was equipped with the latest technology. It's the shower head in the bathroom. Surprisingly, an ultra-fine bubble shower head from the beauty appliance brand ReFa was installed. The water that comes out of this shower head is much finer than a traditional shower and feels like silk. The ultra-fine bubbles absorb dirt from deep within the pores, giving it a pleasant sensation of being rinsed away and soothing my daily fatigue. After showering, you can also try ReFa's high-quality hair dryer in the changing room. It has a strong air flow, which not only greatly shortens the time it takes to dry my hair, but it also makes my hair shiny and looks like it had been done at a beauty salon. It was an unforgettable experience for me to experience state-of-the-art beauty equipment at a retro hotel from the Showa era.

The price for the Fuefuki Fireworks Festival was twice the usual price, but it was much better than other hotels and inns, and it was close to the fireworks venue.I didn't have any particular expectations for the food, so I guess it's something like that. However, since a welcome drink ticket was included, I tried a glass of wine before dinner, but it was clearly made in a foreign country. I found the same wine at a souvenir shop, so I checked and it said it was an imported wine. Hoto no Kosaku also serves imported wines, which they call original wines, so I guess that's what they do, but since I'm here for sightseeing, I want to drink wine from Yamanashi Prefecture.Beer in the fridge in the room. A medium bottle of Super Dry costs over 900 yen. There is a system where you write down the number of bottles you drank and pay at the front desk, but there are no pens in the room. I would like to sell this in a vending machine. The hotel itself has a retro Showa feel. It had the atmosphere of a hotel in a good old hot spring town, and as someone who was born in the Showa era, I felt nostalgic. If it improves its hospitality as a hotel, it will probably continue to be active.

I was able to stay with a same-day reservation. Well, I feel like it's from the Showa era. I had no choice but to make a reservation on the same day, but my partner had bad knees and the bathroom was a long way away, so we decided to take a bath in the room. It was a shame, but I couldn't help it. Unfortunately, it was difficult to connect to Wi-Fi since the room was in the back of the room. The person at the front desk was very nice.

The room was clean, the lobby had a luxurious feel, and the hot springs and dinner were great. However, I couldn't understand why the staff came to make the bed before checking out. The scheduled check-out time was 10 o'clock, but a male staff member came to make the bed at 8:30. We were very angry about that procedure. The male staff member did not ring the bell or knock on the door and directly opened the door with the key without permission. Moreover, we were changing clothes at the time. My mother and aunt, who lived in the next room, also encountered the same situation. My mother and aunt were both very scared. We then complained to the hotel manager about the situation, but the hotel only issued a verbal apology and no concrete response. As a hot springs hotel with beautiful surroundings and history, this incident left me very disappointed in this hotel. The room was beautiful, the lobby looked high-end, and the hot springs and dinner were great.
