Best coffee & food in Mt Fuji. Staff is great. One block from Bus & Train station. Great atmosphere - a nice break from all Japanese food.

Good location, very close to the train station. Check-in is after 4 p.m. You can leave your bag first. The room is a little dusty. The bed was not covered with sheets. Toiletries are provided including toothbrushes. There are four bathrooms. There are separate bathrooms for men and women. Below is a restaurant.

The mattress was horribly dirty, full of dust around the edges, and had items that had not been cleaned from previous guests. And I was not sure if there were bedbugs or other insects there, so I didn’t sleep all night, just sat on a chair and took a nap. Before I discover it, I had my suitcase unpacked and put things on bed, and also sitting on the bed. I'm wondering if it's bedbugs, I maybe infested.• So depressed that was my Birthday night! I paid for it but not able to get a normal accommodation, I was scared for one night, and my travel plan on next day also destroyed cause I had to wait the staff start working at 10am and told about this. Unfortunately, the staff did not take even a glance at the mattress and not feeling surprise about it. It seems normal to them. And then another staff came to make an apology, saying several times "so sorry", but did not feel any sincerity.

Bad service to the tourist.... this town survives because of tourist..but the service is 0 and hostility is thru the roof. No one in this hostel speaks english (I am not english native and I had to learn too) not even an attempt or a smile. There is not a reception or something, you check in a bar in between dishes and stuff. It was me and my mother in a private room, and the reservation under my name. I asked if they needed my mothers name or passport details for check in. There was no answer (?). So if there is an emergency or fire in the building there was no registration of my mother in it. Unsafe and dodgy. The only thing I understood and they told me was Take off your shoes and grab a communal/shared slippers.
