A very local inn, time warped from the 80s! It’s literally by the road next to Eneos gas station and at the bus stop, so don’t walk into the side street.I made a booking on their website. Use google translate if you don’t know Japanese. When I first entered the quiet inn, the proprietor was very puzzled why I was there. I got a bit worried that they would chase me away, but I explained in my halting Japanese and it was all ok. As a solo female traveler, he seemed very concerned about my safety in the inn, telling me that the bath is shared and so I have to make sure to lock it, and to lock my room door. Then I understand why— the clients here are men who are truck drivers, seemingly on a pit stop. An inexpensive option for them to make a stop before their onward travel. For the price point, this stay was very good. Home made dinner of breaded pork katsu, rice, soup with egg, various appetizers, delicious and filling. Breakfast was equally satisfying. Only a 7 minute walk to 7-11 to stock up on food for my hike at Minami Alps.Room was perfect. Yes, no adjoining toilet or bath, but that’s expected. Comfortable bed and good AC, TV, etc. all I needed. There were shampoo and soap at the bath.Walls were thin but everybody sleeps early! So no issue with noise.I find the inn fascinating: it obviously used to cater to many tourists in the past? As it is large but empty now. 80s paraphernalia for the corridors. A reflection of the small town — of all towns in Japan actually.

It's next to the Oguma gas station, so it's perfect for a Super Cub pilgrimage. The room is also spacious!

This is an evaluation based on a biased preference for traveling by moped (Super Cub).・The two-room Japanese-style room, which looks like it was renovated from an annex, is relaxing.・Delicious with breakfast and dinner・Wi-Fi available・Ideal location for participating in events in Hokuto City

Used the night before climbing. I arrived later than the scheduled time, but they prepared dinner for me. The toilet, sink, and bath will be shared.
