Room and location was great. We checked in late and the male staff was very nice and helped carry our bag up to the 2nd floor. Do note that there is no lift. Room was very spacious and nice. It was very convenient that there was a family mart downstairs.Only downside was that after we checked out on that day, we wanted to use the lobby toilet but was refused entry unless we pay 300 yen. That left a bit of a surprising and sour end to a somewhat great stay.

Had an incredible stay. Highly recommend staying here whilst visiting Mt Fuji, the rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful, even though we didn’t get to see mt Fuji - the views of lake Kawaguchiko were amazing.

This was a great spot to stay in Kawaguchiko, right across from the lake with the red line bus stop directly in front and a Family Mart and cafe on the ground floor. Room was spacious and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating towards non-Japanese speakers. Wonderful to be able to walk a few meters across the street to a stunning view of the lake and Mt. Fuji. Recommend staying on this side of the lake for a more village/nature feel.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is next to the Music and Forest Museum and next to the red line No. 15 bus stop. It only takes 3 minutes to walk from the hotel to the shore of Lake Kawaguchi and you can see Mount Fuji! (Located at the northeast corner of Lake Kawaguchi)There are not many restaurants nearby, but there is still something to eat. The best thing is that there is a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs, and there is a Fudo Hofu branch within a 10-minute walk. It is very convenient to stay here for one night when coming to Lake Kawaguchi. The room was surprisingly big. I stayed in the branch building, which is about 3 minutes walk from the main building. It's not far away. Breakfast is also available on the first floor of the branch building, which is very convenient. The bed was so good that I didn't even want to get up in the morning. Overall it was a comfortable stay. I can still see the top of Mount Fuji from my room window~There was a lot of breakfast, and it looked good, but I couldn’t finish it... The taste was also very good, very delicious~Personally, I think the only drawback is that the breakfast time is limited, 7:30-8:45, which is not very convenient, and the checkout time is also very early, checkout before 10 o'clock. So I can only be forced to get up early. But I have a doubt. There is Sekkisei in the hotel photo but it is not actually in the room. I wonder if I have to take the initiative to borrow it from the boss?

It's a beautiful B&B hotel with a convenience store downstairs and an art gallery nearby. The breakfast is delicious and the room is large.

⚠Please be careful if checking in on WednesdayOn Wednesdays, it is unmanned until 16:00.The room was spacious and comfortable with a view of Mt. Fuji. The Japanese staff the next morning were kind. The cafe next to the front desk is closed on Wednesdays. There was a notice to leave the front desk unattended and to dial an extension until 4:00 p.m. However, the extension is not connected at all.I was in a lot of trouble because I couldn't leave my luggage.Perhaps feeling sorry for me, the Family Mart clerk next door took care of it for me.When I went to the front desk to borrow a charger after 4pm, the foreign staff told me that they only had one for iPhone. It's sold at the Family Mart next door. I was surprised by the information.I contacted the annex using an outside line, and a Japanese staff member brought it to me and was very helpful.

Lovely small hotel, we got a room looking out to mt fuji, wonderful. Only a couple of eating places and they close early. Next town down was too far for us to walk, busses stop running and we were not sure on taxis, so early nights. There is a general store attached to hotel so easy to get anything. Great place.

Large rooms, very comfortable and clean. Great location right on the banks of the lake with excellent views of Mt Fuji. Heaps of restaurants within 5 min walking distance or for something quick there is also a Family Mart, 7/11 and Lawson's very close by. Easy transit to and from Train station. A taxi from the train station will cost around ¥1900, the red line sightseeing bus is around ¥400 (per person). The red line sightseeing bus stops outside the hotel (family mart carpark) every 15 minutes so it's perfect to get around (bus stop number 15) - No need to buy a pre paid red line bus ticket, just pay per trip. Get on from the back door, take a printed ticket that auto prints and sit down, when exiting at your stop hand your ticket over and pay the driver
