This hostel is very comfortable, clean and quiet, even though the toilet is outside the room, it is very clean, the location is very close to Lake Kawaguchiko, the owner himself picks up and takes guests to the station...

Due to tight schedule, I could only stay 1 night here, but really enjoyed and recommend it. Mr. Michi took me from Kawaguchiko station and of course back there the next day. If you book through platforms, I'm sure you can ask him for a pick up through the message or contact function of them. The place is clean, spacious with great common room. Nearby is a park and of course the Kawaguchi lake itself. But if stay, remember to grab everything in 7/11 near station before hand.Mr. Michi even helps with your schedule, which in my case, added the infamous Chureitou and the Naruto train into my already tight schedule. Really appreciate. Totally recommend.

This is one of the best hostels I’ve been to!The host provides pick up and drop off at kawaguchiko station (check with host on availability) and the place is so clean! The roses in the garden are beautiful. There are enough bathrooms, and there is a separate door to split the wet and dry areas, so your dry clothes will not get wet. And there’s a rack to store your belongings when you shower. There is only one man running the place but he is really friendly and helpful. This place is his childhood home so you can tell he really takes care of the place. It really made me sad to leave the hostel - he always asks “how was your day?” “Where did you go?” “Is it cold?” - so he can adjust the temperature. He made sure to show me my bed in private, and took care to lower his voice while mentioning the bed location. Staying here felt like staying in an uncle’s place 🥺For LADIES:The host provided sanitary pads in the ladies washroom in case of emergencies!! This is the first time I’ve seen pads being provided? And there’s a separate sink in the ladies which I appreciate so I can wash up in private. Do note it’s for sharing though.Thank you Michi for a heartwarming stay 🥹
