The room is in a great position where you can see Mt. Fuji right in front of you.We were very reluctant to go because of the typhoon information, but there were other people besides us who said they couldn't cancel. When I talked about canceling on the phone, I was told that there would be a cancellation fee, but it was up to the customer, and when I told them I had decided to go, they suddenly seemed like they had turned their backs on me.There was no outlet in the bathroom in the room, so when I used the hair dryer in the room, there was so much dust flying around that I felt like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. When I went to take a bath first thing in the morning, the person from the hotel came to open the bath, but he didn't say good morning even if I said hello to him, and just opened the lid of the bathtub, leaving my hair from last night in the drain. It remained clogged and had not been cleaned. It's really a shame because it's in a great location and the accommodation is cute.

2nd time visiting this place as they have a great private onsen with view of Mt Fuji. Although we arrived late at night, they already had onsen booked for us without us having to ask. Loved staying in the Japanese styled room first time and loved it again second time. Will definitely come back - excellent location where it's nice and quiet and close to the lake and park!

This guesthouse was very relaxed and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Fuji area. The view of Mt. Fuji was great, especially in the morning! Hard to beat this place for the price. There was a small indoor onsen area perfect for relaxing after a long day.It is a bit away from the town which was nice. The staff was very friendly and provided a shuttle service to the bus station.

Great value for money with an amazing view of Mt. Fuji. The facility is a bit older. They have English translations for how to do everything- yukata, sleeping on the futon, using the heater/AC, etc. They offer a small Japanese breakfast for ¥800 as well as a private onsen. There’s a main dining area where you can hang out. The hosts were very kind and offered advice on things to do and where to eat it.Only downside is that the check in is a bit late (15:00).Note: it’s best to reach this place with a car as it’s a bit difficult to get to

Arriving in the dark can be really confusing. The navigation settings are set to the shortest distance, so you will have to take narrow roads between private houses. There are signboards to guide you, so it's best to arrive during daylight hours when you can see them. The room will be unlocked upon arrival, so you must first go through a security check.Whether you can see the scenery or not depends on your luck.I had checked in advance to see if dinner was available, but I can't describe the feeling of despair I felt when I arrived and was told that there wasn't. It takes time to go to a distant place to eat.

The accommodation has been open for a long time, old but still classic. Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city into a quiet village, but still have a view of Fuji. Food from the accommodation is delicious. Free private onsen reservations available.

A bit old the whole building, if you have rent any car , might be a bit long walking to the bus station. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, really close to the nature and waking up with Fuji views, dinner there was good not expensive , and also got an Onsen for free, it was good after exploring the long day.

Air conditioning full of DUST look like no cleaning for 100 years, but its cold outside, so i dont using it after make it ON.You can heard the sound of guest next to your room what they talking or doing. The bathtub and shower inside the room, butthe flush toilet is a old one, no remote control for spraying water like other moddrn hotel. There are parking lots in front of the guesthouse and the room window open to see Mt. Fuji.No refrigerator.Bed will make a noise everytime you move your body.
