The food was wonderful and delicious. On the first day, I ordered a wood-fired meal, and I thought it would be BBQ-like, but it was a French course that was completely unexpected, in a good way. The ingredients were cooked over a wood fire, and all the dishes were wonderfully delicious. The boar meat came out, but it wasn't the boar I know. There is no smell or hardness at all, the trout has crispy skin and is fragrant, the vegetables are homemade, and I can't say enough about it. The course portions were huge, and even though I thought the kids wouldn't be able to finish them all, they ate them all. There were several corners outside the room where you could enjoy a bonfire (they served marshmallows and homemade fruit wine to roast), so if I wasn't full, I think it would have been fun to laze around.Kiyosato itself is deserted and I think it would be better to go to Kobuchizawa to have fun, but I want to eat the food here again, so I will definitely go again. There was one amazing staff member who was very knowledgeable about both food and wine, which made the meal even more enjoyable. I'm not one of those people, but personally, I don't go back to places where there are people with long nails in the restaurant business, but that didn't really matter.

The food was delicious with careful attention to detail, but I was disappointed because I was accompanied by three ladies who talked loudly at both dinner and breakfast, so I wanted to enjoy the food in peace. The booklet at the hotel also said not to make loud noises while eating.

I'm staying here because I want to eat dinner here. A few years ago, we started offering wood-fired cooking courses. The aroma and taste are completely different from grilling with gas.Did it stimulate my DNA from a long time ago when I used to cook locally grown food over firewood? , Wine is also progressing.Vegetables are grown organically at our own farm, and game meat caught nearby (no smell at all!) is used to make soup from the bones.Looks like I'll take it.Dishes you can only taste here, that you can't taste in the city. I'll see you again!

I often visited Nagano Prefecture for mountain climbing and nature walks, but I usually started from a business hotel. This time we stayed at Auberge Kiyosato in Yamanashi Prefecture. We had a delicious French course meal and sparkling wine made at a winery from Yamanashi Prefecture, and had a very enjoyable meal while listening to explanations of the dishes and taking commemorative photos. It was my first time to roast marshmallows over a wood fire after the meal, so it was difficult but fun. Toasted marshmallows are delicious. The time spent talking with the family around the wood fire after the meal was different from everyday life, and it was a very fulfilling time.

I always go to Kiyosato during the May holidays, but this was my first time staying here. It's an auberge, so to be honest, there's nothing special about the accommodation, but the rooms are compact and clean, although some parts of the rooms are showing signs of age.The food was delicious, with a rich menu of local ingredients, and well presented! It was fun to talk to the staff about various things. It was a great atmosphere to sit around a bonfire at night and drink the owner's own fruit wine.Being on a plateau, it was very quiet and the mornings were refreshing, so we had a great time.
