This is an old log house, so please be careful as the stairs to the entrance and the deck around the outside are rotten and shabby.However, the atmosphere of being one with nature and being surrounded by the forest is well worth the trip. In particular, the view of the morning mist shining through the sunlight filtering through the trees gives you a mysterious and refreshing feeling.

We stayed here for one night in mid-December with 3 adults and 2 medium-sized dogs.It wasn't cold because there was a fan heater and a kotatsu, but my feet were cold on the floor between the boards (^-^;It might be a good idea to bring slippers.However, there were enough bedding and I was able to sleep comfortably.All tableware and cooking utensils are provided, so there is no need to bring anything other than seasonings and food, and the supermarket is conveniently located nearby.There was no fence as the fence had been destroyed by the typhoon, but there was also a large dog run. Our dog could be called back so we had plenty of fun.There are relatively many inns in the area that allow you to stay with your dog, but I think they rank high in terms of comfort and value for money.

The environment is beautiful, very leisurely and quiet! It is suitable for families or friends to come and live together. The cabin is very cozy because it is relatively humid in the mountains, but otherwise it is very comfortable to live in.You can also barbecue and cook hot pot at night, and even hold events without worrying about disturbing people.It is also a pet-friendly place, and there is a large grassy area for pets to run around.

You can stay with your dog.There were also several dogs at the reception. It seems that protection dog activities are also being carried out.The building is old and it doesn't feel like everything is perfect, but I think it's good for people who want to relax and spend time at their own pace without worrying about going too far.The smallest cottage has an outdoor space for BBQ. You can also play with handheld fireworks or rent buckets.The other cottages have terraces, so it was possible to have a BBQ on the terrace.I don't know about other cottages, but the cottage I stayed in had a unit bath, but it was very small, so I used a nearby hot spring for bathing.About 10 minutes by car? There is also a small shopping mall nearby, so shopping is easy.I was told that there were a lot of insects, but perhaps because I sprayed a one-push type insect repellent, I didn't have to worry about any unexpected insects.To be honest, the futon is exactly like a senbei futon, so if you like fluffy futons, you may find it difficult.This cottage has the feel of a mountain hut.
