Due to the typhoon, transportation was suspended, and we were unable to check in as scheduled. We booked through Booking.com, and I'd like to share my experience here. Although I can't comment on the room, there's one thing I want to point out: the response speed of this guesthouse is impressively "leisurely." Basically, they'll only reply when they have information they want to send to you. Before our trip, I had already contacted them via Booking.com and Gmail multiple times, asking about what would happen if we couldn't make it due to the typhoon. However, I only barely received a reply on the morning of our intended stay, and even then, it didn’t address my concerns. That morning, I received a message from the guesthouse around 7 a.m., and by 8 a.m., I had already tried calling them multiple times, but the phone might as well have been for decoration—no one answered. In the end, we had to urgently find another place to stay in the city.As for Booking.com’s customer service, they didn’t provide much help either, simply asking me to fill out a satisfaction survey over and over again without resolving any issues. At the time, I really felt helpless, as if no one could assist us. The guesthouse itself came across as rather indifferent. After all, it wasn’t our fault that we couldn’t arrive, but their attitude was certainly "memorable."

A quiet place for rest. Along the street of Fujiyoshida, I felt the calmness and majestic beauty of Mt Fuji. To take note, there is no lift, have to carry luggage up to second storey.

Positive points: Very good location close to Mount Fuji station so easy access for the latter.Nice rooftop.Negative points: No communication possible with the staff, I sent them two emails to request an earlier check-in, no response. Check in is at 4 p.m.... So late when you didn't sleep the night before since we were climbing Mount Fuji. When we arrived at the hostel, one of the cleaning ladies, I suppose, very welcoming and friendly, was unfortunately unable to comply with our request. So after having stayed more than 6 hours in the city fighting ardently against fatigue, discovering the room was a nice cold shower. No room for suitcases, it’s appalling. We covered the little space with our suitcases. A little complicated to get around.Showers are basic and shared. The building doesn't look run down.Known best stay.

Stayed for four nights with a group of friends. The staff was very helpful. They have a great view of Mt. Fuji and Fuji-Q from their roof. I wish they had a kitchen that we could use, though.

Use booking.com to book a room. Check-in is self-service. Check-in information will not be given until about 14:00 on the same day. The response was slow before. We stayed in a seven-person room. The air-conditioning was a little bit cold, but there was plenty of space and it was comfortable to sleep in.The next morning I went to the top floor to see Mount Fuji. The scenery was really great!
