Check-in at 2023/12, leave a recommendation review now! You can feel the owner's care in every corner. There is enough space for luggage between the bunk beds of the youth hostel, and the beds even smell good.I also like the public space. The boss has different playlists day and night, and coffee and herbal tea are available for free. Remember to order breakfast, which is simple but very delicious. I also praise the clean toilets.There are not many shops nearby at night. If you want to eat some snacks, it is recommended to buy them near the station when you come.

Excellent stop, interesting hostThe +: The house has a certain charm and the owner has decorated it nicely, especially the living room where you have breakfast. Breakfast also homemade and delicious. Our host was very friendly, was able to recommend ideas to avoid the crowds and spoke very good English! The quality/price ratio of this night was one of the best in 3 weeks of traveling in Japan.The -: The parking lot is a little cramped when more than one car is there, which must often be the case. Nothing serious. Be careful to go early for dinner in the evening, especially during the week, it's a very quiet area :-)

We stayed in the Fuji Matsuyama Base for only one night and had a wonderful time! The host Hiro is super friendly and takes great care of his guests. Our recommendation: the typical japanese breakfast the Hiro prepares for you. Definitely recommending the Hostel to my friends!

Excellent, traditional style lodging with a delicious breakfast located near the train station in an attractive residential neighborhood. Comfortable, friendly and a great place to hang and meet other travelers. We are a lesbian couple traveling with a friend, late 60s.

Well located, overlooking Fuji. Very small room. We only stayed for one night and it was very practical. Check in and check out at any time.

I only spent one night there but everything was as I expected. The guesthouse is ideally located, a 10-minute walk from Mt Fuji Station (which takes you to Kawaguchiko in 5 minutes). The sacred mountain is visible from all angles! The owner is friendly, available and speaks English. Bike rental for the day for a very good price (1000 yen from memory). I recommend if you are in the area!

I checked in today.After the lights went out, I tried to unlock the front door using the dial setting, but it wouldn't open and the phone wouldn't connect.I got lost on the street. The room was nice and the facilities were good, but only if you don't mind being locked out. I'm not asking for my money back, but I'm disappointed.P.S.: Apparently another customer had locked the door with a different key, making it impossible to open it from the outside. Please improve it.

I stayed here for 3 nights.I wanted a nice Japanese style place from which to have a base to see Mt Fuji and I definitely found it.The location is relatively convenient, about a 15 minute walk from the Mt. station. Fuji or 20/25 min from Gekkouji.In 30 minutes you arrive at the Chureito Pagoda, and by train you can easily reach Kawaguchiko. It is also possible to rent bicycles.The owner is truly hospitable, reserved, and attentive to the attention and requests of travelers, and also cooks an excellent Japanese-style breakfast.The dorm bed is comfortable, the house is quiet, the kitchen is very warm and welcoming. Tea and coffee are always available and the cleanliness is excellent.Long story short it's a great place and I would happily go back!Highly recommended

It can be seen that the boss is very attentive to his management!The smell of wood is felt as soon as you enter the door, and the dining area is very warm and cute❤️ There is even a QR code on the player to share the playlist!Even the breakfast cooked by the boss is delicious!I will stay here again next time I go to Mount Fuji🗻

I checked in around 6pm for one night in early August for mountain climbing. This is a guest house.It is best to inform the owner of your check-in time in advance.The room was a dormitory with two bunk beds for ¥4,000. There are 2 foreign tourists in the same room.The bed is clean, there is an outlet near the pillow, and there is a safe in the room. Other: The house has a kitchen, bath, and terrace, so you can spend your time comfortably. I didn't use it because I left early in the morning, but they also rent bicycles.You can't see Mt. Fuji from inside the room, but when you walk out the front door and walk a little further, you can see it towering right in front of you.

The best place to stay! Cute little hostel ran by an amazing cool guy. The views from the doorstep are just omg!!! One of the best Mt.Fuji views! The living room has cute vibe with chill music and tea and coffee and some games. Host cooks amazing breakfast if you add it to your reservation. Rooms are nice and clean and tidy
