Annupuri Lodge

The best were to stay in Japan. Lovely staff, Matt is super helpful, Yuko cooks the best breakfast, cute family they work with their children. There is a restaurant with delicious food. The ambiance in great: you can meet people and there is a nice living room that is the meeting point. Downstairs the ski room. It is located literally 3 min walking from the slopes in a cute road with no traffic. I really can’t recommended any better accommodation. Closest onsen in 4 min walking. Book it now !!

Matt who is onner is very kindfull. His recommend restaurant was very derisious. Logdge was awsome! ! !The owner of this lodge, Matt, was very kind and the breakfast was quite delicious. Best of all, it's in a great location, just 2 minutes walk from the lodge to the Annupuri slopes!

The owner is very friendly and the service is excellent. There is also plenty of chatting space, so you might have some fun encounters from time to time. The slopes are just a few minutes walk away, and there are delicious pizza shops and pubs nearby, so the location is great.

I had a good rest in the comfortable room and bed. The toilet and living room are shared, but they were clean and comfortable. I spent the evening lazing around on the couch.Maru-chan, the signboard dog, will welcome you. Just a short walk to the ski resort gondola. At night, it's a 2 minute drive to the hot springs.The breakfast is delicious and the staff are friendly and kind. I should have stayed for 3 nights... See you next year!

Perfect for maximizing your time on the slopes. Eat a great breakfast, grab your gear, and walk right down to the gondola and lifts for first tracks. Comfortable spacious rooms. Used the shared bathroom last year and private bathroom this year--both were fine. Great price and no complaints.

The room was clean and the service was good. It is also recommended for group trips with friends. It was great to be right next to the ski slopes. The staff was also friendly and nice.

Due to the coronavirus, there were few tourists, so I had a relaxing time. 1 minute walk to the slopes.The lodge is in a very convenient location, with a delicious Italian restaurant across the street and a hot spring within walking distance. The owner couple were friendly and we had a great time.The room is also very clean. The lodge also arranged snowboard rental for us.

I barely write a negative review but I thought I'd share my experience here for future guests.We stayed here for 4 nights over the new years, and there were many "negative" surprises.1. I had lift pass discount tickets mailed to this property, but it somehow went missing. Yamato marked it as delivered but the owner claims he has not seen it. The mail box had no lock and no security camera at the property. I have politely asked the owner Matt to check multiple times but no update, and the email I wrote to the property later was also ignored. Do not send anything valuable to the property.2. We booked this place on Airbnb, and they made it look as if we have the living room to ourselves. However the living room was shared with many other rooms (at least 5 rooms), and there was a man sleeping and snoring in the living room which made us feel very uncomfortable. The bathtub was apparently "under construction" but the owner did not tell us in advance, although we had specifically asked him about it. His responses are very sneaky and deceiving.3. The property is old and the wall is very thin. We could hear people next door talking and snoring. We could hear footsteps of people walking on the hallway.The only positive things about the property are 1) the proximity to annupuri ski resort (about 3min walk) and 2) friendly staff, other than the owner whom I could not trust.I really do not feel comfortable writing this kind of review, but when the owner treats his guests badly and does not even respond to my email about the item that the property lost, it needs to be reported. I will not stay there again and do not support any hospitality business that is deceiving.
