We enjoyed staying here in the summer. I hear it’s vastly different from a winter Niseko vacation- it was perfect for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents- quiet, clean, and relaxing- plus, Hokkaido doesn’t get as hot as the rest of Japan this time of year. Easy to walk to nearby shops or restaurants and plenty of onsen opportunities nearby. We had some visiting snow foxes walk by too!

Loved our stay here. This place was perfect for two couples + 1 kid. Comfy beds, nice amenities, good sunlight, and everything you might need in the kitchen.A private shuttle was available every morning from 8 - 10 to take us to the gondola center. Always had a good conversation with the friendly drivers on our way. Also had the option for a pickup in the afternoon. The house is far back enough from the Main Street to be removed from all the commotion at night. But close enough for an easy walk to any restaurant / bar you want to go to in hirafu.Scattered around lower hirafu are a bunch of hidden gems - small izakayas, hip bars, and snow covered streets. This place really felt like home during our stay. Two big thumbs up. We’ll be coming back.

We went during 2023 / 2024 winter season - some things have changed since the review below. There is no more ski valet service at the slopes. …

My favorite for snowboarding. 1-2 blocks away from all the best izakayas and a shuttle right at your door to the slopes.

We travelled to Niseko end of January this year as a family of five. We arrived at Niseko by bus, Niseko Central picked us up and drove us to the Kisetsukan apartments.  …

A good night sleep is paramount if on the slopes all day - beds were a little soft. My husband had to sleep on the lounge floor - we requested a futon half way through. Duvets were hard and heavy - not light and fluffy as you would expect in a winter wonderland. Unit sleeps 4 but they only had enough seating space for 2 on a small couch and 1 on a separate chair (excluding the dining room seating). If the shuttle bus is not running, which happened 3 days of our stay, your walk to the gondola is 900m with ski boots / boarding boots - all uphill - it is a huge trek. Unit was clean although there was never enough toilet paper available in the unit. The last 2 nights, we had neighbours upstairs that would bang, clonk on the wooden floors from 2am to 7am, then it would stop - the next early morning, exactly the same. So, ensure that you get one of the upstairs units. Rooms and bathroom were western size small - medium which was adequate.

Really comfortable and was perfect for our group of 5 guys. Only downside was that resort shuttle only picked up to take to village centre in the morning when skiing and not if just going to bars or restaurants or shops, which is of course not the accommodations fault. Only 10 - 15 min walk but one of our guys got injured first day so was a struggle for him
